Because more people care about the emotional reaction to football than the actual Xs and Os. There are 3-4 daily Cardinals podcasts, I don’t hear anyone breaking down Xs and Os. It’s more “Marvin is soft, he runs poor routes, Kyler is going to be here next year because of the options, etc.”

No one is breaking down the performance of Michael Wilson and Greg Dortch on Mills routes, or asking why certain pass rush moves by Lopez wind up with him pushed back 2 yards. That doesn’t get play, the emotional reaction stuff does.
I think it’s because we know those players have limitations. There aren’t the same expectations. We could do it, but frankly they should t have the impact that the first and fourth picks in the draft should have. It isn’t emotion, it’s appropriate expectations. If we paid lopez the highest defensive lineman salary in they nfl he’d get that scrutiny.

We also have no evidence that anything hasn’t changed.
Correct.

So if something was blue. And we have no confirmation that it’s still blue, but also no evidence that it’s a different color. What would the reasonable assumption be? It’s still blue or it changed color?

There might not be. But show us the opposite. If that doesn’t exist either we have to rely on the only evidence we have, the stuff Daves listed. Otherwise you’re just living in make believe make stuff up fantasyland.

There's no shortage of belief in fantasies on this site, and they're not mine.

The 'opposite' is the absence of a record showing that Kyler has failed to prepare since Monti and Co. took over and the praise he's received periodically from his H-C.

When Kyler collects his $11.9m roster bonus at the beginning of the new league year, consider that evidence in whatever colour under the rainbow you fancy.

That's another way to look at it

He brought this on himself with his poor play

Why reward him for being less that average?

We're not supposed to hold him accountable?

Reward him?

KM has to go out there and earn it.

KM accounts to Mike, Monti, and Gannon for his play, not you or any other fan(atic).

Keeping a player from earning an incentive is a very fast way to lose the locker room.
Especially for one of your captains and a guy who does try hard. These dudes want to feel like their sacrifices matter, and if the team can get them certain bonuses without compromising wins, they will.

My thing is that either way, it isn't producing the production that I as a fan want which is why I am ready to move on when a better option presents itself.

Lol. That’s not evidence of anything other than a myriad of factors. Cap, lack of alternative, etc and you know it. I’ve come to expect better arguments from you.

I love how many people suddenly care about player incentives in the final game of the year, when said player has had 16 games to already earn the incentive. Because they as a player have failed to do so we should do all we can as an entire team to make sure they get it in the final game. Yeah, that doesn't seem forced or unnatural at all.

Lmao.

Let that happen for real. I’ll find a way to make sure you can monitor it since you’re confident as hell about it.
If weren’t standing to gain financially I would place that bet in heartbeat. No one, and I repeat no one watches just one side of the ball unless you’re a sxout, and even then i doubt they miss every single play in the opposite side of the ball.

doesnt matter cuz we wont have those players. but if we did id love to see yiu try to go the whole season never posting a single comment on the offense trying to prove a silly point. that would be entertaining.

Lol, this post got some down votes

I think he should have met the minimum a few games ago

Yet we play him against the Niners who are playing a backup WB and have a lot of injuries to pad his stats for a trade?

Or fluff up the stats so the FO can try to sell us that he deserves another year?

Yikes I'm starting to sound like Mike Bidwill, lol
