And any chances at free agents.Keeping a player from earning an incentive is a very fast way to lose the locker room.

Lol. That’s not evidence of anything other than a myriad of factors. Cap, lack of alternative, etc and you know it. I’ve come to expect better arguments from you.
It’s not evidence of it. It could be evidence of it. Just like the lack of acknowledging he’s changed a self-admitted and organization-recognized failure of his could be evidence that it’s still an issue. Why?
Anytime I give you a response it's simply ignored.
The 'myriad' of factors would by definition include that Monti and Co. have no issue with KM's work habits given that you and others can't offer one piece of evidence to the contrary since the regime change.

Given the baseline - that he said he doesn’t study all day and the contract clause - and the absence of any comment positive or negative thereafter and his continued uneven performance, I think it’s more reasonable to assume nothing changed than to believe something has but we neither see nor hear of any changes in actions or performance.
Kingsbury routinely praised Murray just as glowingly. This would be perfectly cogent if not for the praise from Gannon since he took over the helm. If you were a regular viewer of Gannon's pressers on YouTube, you would know this to be true.
You may not like it, and call it coach speak or B.S.; it nevertheless exists and makes ancient history moot.
Kingsbury routinely praised Murray just as glowingly.
And we keep hearing about how hard Murray works in the weight room, but not a word about how much time he puts into film study, mental preparation, the insights he has into how an opponent will defend certain routes, how he took advantage of a tendency he saw on film, etc.
There really is no evidence that he has or hasn't changed his study habits. I will say this whatever he's doing isn't working. It’s not evidence of it. It could be evidence of it. Just like the lack of acknowledging he’s changed a self-admitted and organization-recognized failure of his could be evidence that it’s still an issue.

Huh?I'm sticking with Kyler Murray in 2025, because His leadership righted the ship.
You mean the 2024 version of Kyler Murray that completely melted down in the 2nd half of the season, panicked whenever under any pressure, tossed several INTs, and could barely complete passes for no more than 5-10 yards the majority of the season? I don't know how his "leadership" righted the ship. They were 6-4 and will end up no better than 8-9, or worst case, 7-10. If the latter, that means they went 1-6 down the stretch. The blame is not just on KM - the OC and HC deserve a heaping portion of the blame.I'm sticking with Kyler Murray in 2025, because he recognized they need to be better. His leadership righted the ship.
Kyler stays. Petzing stays. We continue to build the team and continuity.Open up debate thread...page 121 is the same stuff as page 1.
What do we expect Kyler to be at this point?
He is clearly not "generational" as some thought when he was drafted...he is also not a bust.
He is the 10th highest paid QB - about to be the 12th when Darnold and Purdy sign new deals.
Is he a guy that is top 12-15 in the NFL? Yes and he still has upside even in year 7.
Is he the guy that will win you a Super Bowl like Mahomes, Brady, etc? No but not many can do that.
Can he be a guy that can consistently wins 10 games and make the playoffs with the right talent and coaching around him? I think so.
I personally think 2024 Kyler was the best I have seen him play since 2021. I also expect him to get better in 2025.
I want to see JG/Monti continue to build this team into a consistent playoff team (starting in 2025). If and when we can replace Kyler with a better option, I think we will.
All evidence to the contrary. A lot has changed through his time with the Cards. The main constant is Kyler Murray. He's a choke artist under pressure, so I don't think any amount of talent around him is going to turn him into a regular playoff QB. He can sneak in sometimes, can back in, but he's only done that once in six years, so...yeah.Open up debate thread...page 121 is the same stuff as page 1.

Exactly I'm so done with Kyler. Actually my thoughts were the same last season. Today changes nothing. This chapter should be closed sooner than later.Huh?
This is honestly hilariousPetzing better be able to scheme a vertical passing attack for the WRs.
