Josh Allen is closer to Anthony Barr than he is Khalil Mack.

That is not a #1 pick in the slightest.

Imagine actually giving a damn how he is in coverage. No one cares about Von, Mack, Chandler, or Clowney is in coverage.
The thing with having the #1 pick is the guy has to have the most upside and the fewest, if any, flaws. In Bosa's case, although he's coming off of an injury. he is by far the most pro ready and has the highest upside.

With Kyler Murray, yeah he looks dynamic on film, but he is considerably smaller than your prototypical QB and the fear of bolting to baseball if his career doesnt take off immediately is real. Two major red flags, IMO. People are saying that he's going to "break the mold," but there is very little evidence that that will be the case based on the history of the position.

I don't think there's an argument that Bosa is a better, safer prospect than Murray, which would indicate that picking Murray would be considered a reach. It still remains a possibility that Murray isn't a Top-10 prospect and not close to being the #1 QB in this class.

If Murray goes back to baseball it will because he sucks. If he sucks and he leaves for baseball who cares?

Lamar Jackson came into the league and was dubbed strong arm, slender, a great runner but questionable accuracy issues. He we went 6-3. Comparably Murray is better in every comparison except he’s 3 or 4 inches shorter. This thing is getting legs. If someone offers the Cardinals their 1st round pick in this years draft I believe Murray will be our first pick. Whether we agree with it or not.

"Believing' is free!

And unless it actually has legs with Bidwill, Keim and KK it has stumps!

Shortest QB measured since 2003, Doesn’t have a killer instinct and willing to go out there and throw under pressure and show what he’s got. Isn’t truly committed to football and any sign of trouble or tripping up in the NFL can very likely just quit and go back to baseball.... Anyone taking this kid high in the 1st has lost their mind.

The Murray hype train won't take this into consideration. It doesn't fit their narrative

We continue to sift through the analyticals, measurements and stats, but the one thing we don't seem to bring up or possibly consider relative is the excitement factor. I have no idea which of these 2 will succeed the most, but for me, Rosen has never excited me. But Murray, now just the thought of him quarterbacking any team raises my eyebrows and gets my attention. I love the thought of the Cards being exciting again. And there is nothing more exciting to me than seeing a qb on 3rd and 20 be forced out of the pocket and break the opposing team's will by scrambling for a 1st down a couple times per game. That's backbreaking for the opposition, ala Elway, Russell, Vick, and even all the way back to Tarkington.

I think at this point in time we don't know if either one over the other of these 2 will succeed. But I have always thought that 50% of a qbs success is being plugged into the system that is best for him. Thus I gotta lean towards the Murray camp, and go with placing the round peg into the round hole..

And there's precisely "0" evidence that Rosen won't fit KK's system.

You don’t base 8 million dollars in dead cap money and the future of your franchise because of excitement factor.... Sorry but that is quite possibly the silliest thing I’ve heard in awhile.. lol

Get out of here with that stone age way of thinking. Haven't you heard? Kyler Murray is the next coming of Jesus Christ himself. He is gonna change the world

Lol.. awesome.

If nothing else the Murray debate brings out the absolute best in us as posters.

Some really great stuff on here the last few weeks.

Can any one tell why pocket passers are being discriminated against? The group that won 19 of the last 20 super bowls.

Because Kingsbury made a hype video in October that’s gotten too much traction
