Guys and Gals, this is fun. We're about to be playing super meaningful ball in September! Something we haven't done for a while.

Lets enjoy it!

Without Lamb's fielding gaffe it would have been much less exciting. So, there is that - thanks Lambo.

My two idea for improving baseball.

1. Robo ump - I know not original but long over due. The benefits are obvious.
2. THREE designated hitters. Forget about AL vs NL give every team 3 DHs. This would make the game a lot more fun to watch. Sure you use the first DH for the pitcher but the second and third could hit for any player. This would create a new breed of "specialists." Guys that are great fielders and lousy hitters as well as the power guys that can't field a ground ball.

Rockies and Marlins currently losing late in their games! Brewers already beat the Cards earlier today... Bellanger is supposed to return to the line-up tonight. But gotta give Robbie the edge over Ryu for sure!

1. Bob Brenly is all for robo ump calling balls and strikes. And so am I. The plate umpire would have the same amount of responsibility as the base umpires. Actually still a little bit more.

2. And why not designated baserunners? :) Seriously, I have been against the designated hitter (the designated hitter) from the start. But within the past half year, I now support it only because the National League is at a disadvantage. And one of two leagues in the world (and one in our country) who does not use it. NL pitchers come into the league with no experience hitting.

Ever had a guy on your softball team that could catch, hit and walk to first, the end?

Yeah, most of my team...lol

We have a few that are very slow. We get one runner per inning, so try to use them as needed.
