LolNever a doubt!
1. Bob Brenly is all for robo ump calling balls and strikes. And so am I. The plate umpire would have the same amount of responsibility as the base umpires. Actually still a little bit more.My two idea for improving baseball.
1. Robo ump - I know not original but long over due. The benefits are obvious.
2. THREE designated hitters. Forget about AL vs NL give every team 3 DHs. This would make the game a lot more fun to watch. Sure you use the first DH for the pitcher but the second and third could hit for any player. This would create a new breed of "specialists." Guys that are great fielders and lousy hitters as well as the power guys that can't field a ground ball.

2. And why not designated baserunners? Seriously, I have been against the designated hitter (the designated hitter) from the start. But within the past half year, I now support it only because the National League is at a disadvantage. And one of two leagues in the world (and one in our country) who does not use it. NL pitchers come into the league with no experience hitting.
Ever had a guy on your softball team that could catch, hit and walk to first, the end?Courtesy runner!
