Heck, Ball wasn't even worth a top-ten pick in the last draft.

Simmons will be fine. His mechanics are adequate and he knows how to improve.
I think Simmons is a good player, but I doubt he ever learns to shoot. The next 3 he makes will be his first.

Who’s going to take Eric Gordon knowing they are doing so to let Houston become a super team? Even if Gordon has that kind of value around the league?

If I’m Houston I try to convince Lebron that Harden is enough and let Paul walk. Lebron/Harden isn’t an ideal fit but neither was Wade. Still would be by far the second best duo in the league.

FWIW that's been the rumor on UCLA boards for a few weeks, that his son was going to Sierra Canyon. Sierra Canyon denies it. And also FWIW how silly is it that it's being reported an 8th grader "committed" to a private high school? He's not even 14 yet and can't even dunk but I guess that's today with a mega famous dad and the internet.

And yes I get the reason it's big news is people assume wherever the son goes, the dad will too.

I'm more concerned that, with all of his wealth, James couldn't commission a better name for his son than "Bronny." At least "Easton West" has a sort of a bizarre humor to it.

Good grief that’s the kids actual name? I thought that tweet was implying a knickname...

That's a nickname his real name is LeBron JR IIRC.

First off, what does wealth have to do with name? There's people with the name Drumpf who are filthy rich.

And LeBron's oldest son's name is LeBron James Jr.

I think Lebron James goes to the Sixers. Houston and Lakers are still in the mix to land James.imo

<OFF TOPIC>

Actually Lebron probably is much richer than Drumpf. Some estimates are that Drumpf is worth between 125-250 million only. There was a good article I was reading a few weeks ago written by the guy who started the Forbes list of richest people. He found out years later than when Drumpf was added to list, he wasn't even worth millions if you factored in all his debt. I think it's now obvious why he didn't want his tax returns released.....he's worth a small fraction of what he states he is.

I think the Sixers and Lakers are most likely. If he wants to really challenge for a championship, I think the Sixers give him the best route, but he has a solid connection now to Los Angeles so I think the Lakers are strongly in play.

Yup. If he wants to win now, he is going to the sizers. If he wants to wait a little bit to contend for championship, he will go to the lakers. At least that is how I see it

I think the logic is if he goes to the Lakers, so will Paul George. I don't know who they move then, probably Randle or Ingram. So they'd be looking at something like LeBron, George, Caldwell-Pope, Ball and Ingram or Randle with Lopez and some bench guys. Good size and length to switch, not sure they have enough shooters although both George and Caldwell-Pope are good shooters. That's clearly a playoff team.

I guess the debate is will they be good enough to get past Houston and Golden State before LeBron gets too old?

LBJ needs a team loaded with shooters. The Cavs ran a play with Lebron over and over against the Ws that was basically unstoppable. Only problem was their guys couldn't hit the wide open 3s.

James will not win a title with the Lakers. You can write that down. Maybe he decides to go there for family reasons, but they can't get good enough.

Yep, even with Paul are they any better than last year's Cavs?

I’m not a fan of “playoff p”.
I like the pairing of Kawhi and LeBron in L.A
