Just would taint our first championship in that it would be all about Lebrons Legacy. That we had to pay arguably the best nba player ever to get us the win. The headline “Lebron wins Suns first championship” doesnt sound good to me.

Forget about tainting a Suns championship. The fans deserve one. All history will remember is the Suns winning a championship.

Nah, history will remember mostly that he led not just one but two franchises to their first ever NBA title. It will be played up constantly in an effort to offset Bill Russell and Michael Jordan's rings. I do agree though that it won't be a tainted championship.

But here's my problem. Yes, I want a championship. But I'm really looking forward to watching each game as these youngs guys grow into quality veterans. I hate actually watching Lebron play the game. The flopping, the acting, the whining, the forearm pushoffs, the traveling and so on ruin the game for me. So, while I will enjoy the championship, it won't be a fun ride for me and I'd prefer the fun ride.

I guess I want to make sure the Suns make the trip. The other stuff is not so important to me.

The Suns can win other championships after he leaves.

Apparently the Cavs tried working a deal for Kawhi at the draft. They offered a package of #8 and Kevin Love, which wasn't happening. They really don't have any quality trade assets to improve their team going forward. Love isn't a bad player but he's overpaid and isn't getting any younger. Playing him at Center for a majority of the season didn't help increase his trade value either. If he couldn't succeed as a C in the East, no one in the West will want to try doing the same thing.

I got an alert that Lebron tried to recruit Durant to come to L.A.

Lebron is a top talent, but IMO his presence is destroying the NBA.

I hope the buddy system retires with him, but I fear he simply set the precedents.

Wouldn't be that bad if he stuck with the same buddies but it seems that depends on who is in their prime. Now that Wade, Bosh, and Melo are all basically done he's move on to find some new "friends". I never heard him linked to Durant previously. I know Chris Paul is supposed to be his buddy but I can't see him landing in Houston and I'd be surprised to see Paul leave to try and start something from scratch with Lebron.

Why would Durant joining the Lakers be any worse for the NBA than him staying on Golden State?

If Lebron could bring a championship to the Suns it would elevate his legacy... bringing a championship to a team that has never won it.

Booker, Jackson, Ayton and Lebron isn't bad. Much better than what he had in Cleveland.

I think if we were one more year into the development of JJ and Ayton and both looked like bona-fide studs, we'd definitely be in the LeBron picture. But there's still too many questions about this team for him to really take it seriously right now.

I think it is highly unlikely Lebron comes to the Suns this season and Dudley rates the Suns chances as "zero."

With that in mind, TMZ Sports caught up with Dudley and asked him the likelihood that superstar LeBron James ends up in Phoenix.

"Zero-percent chance," Dudley said. "(LeBron's) not coming to Phoenix."

Dudley sees James either staying in Cleveland or going to Los Angeles.

In fact, when the reporter double checks, Dudley doubles down that there is "zero percent chance."

it's true that Lebron "buddies" up to the best players in the league and leaves behind a string of Ex's.
his gold-digging (trophy digging) tarnishes the NBA and his career

rivalries used to be one of the most exciting aspects of the game
now the best players are merging with their biggest rivals

Cassel and Horry were nasty. but i couldn't blame them for not wanting to be a Sun

Reportedly, Dan Gilbert told people he wants LeBron James to leave Cavaliers "because I’ll get my team back"

If that's true it's been nuts. I can see him saying that though. He didn't handle James' departure 8 years ago very well, at all. Being a billionaire who doesn't actually control his own team is probably irritating but at the same time, he won a title and has been to 4 straight NBA finals. This basically tells Cavs fans that Gilbert cares more about control than winning.

Dan Gilbert is a terrible owner, far worse than Sarver. He's just lucky an all time great was born in the backyard.

Sarver now has 2 owners behind him in the terrible owner ranks, maybe 3, but definitely Dan Gilbert and Vivek in Sacramento. I'd say James Dolan and Sarver are neck and neck. I prefer Sarver, sticking with the devil I know. Dolan may have a huge checkbook but that doesn't mean he's paid anyone who was worthwhile.

Is Brooklyn still owned by the Russian billionaire? If so I think that's a close call also but he's stayed out of the public eye over the last few years.

Rumor has it that was LeBron and Durant setting up Stephen A Smith to look bad. LeBron actually texted Durant to come play in the pickup games at UCLA, but they leaked it to Stephen A so he'd think it was come play with the Lakers, and Stephen A reported it as a scoop that morning and it quickly got denied by everyone involved.

If LeBron's son is going to be at Sierra Canyon, then it makes sense LeBron will be in LA.

Sierra canyon has an insane roster of sons of NBA players, Scottie Pippen's son is there, Kenyon Martin's son is there, Tellis frank's son is there and now so is LeBron's.

Any idea the Lakers were going to trade Lonzo Ball in part of all their remaking the roster is on hold as they finally decided he needs surgery on the left knee that bothered him all last year, sprained MCL during the year is now torn meniscus. The claim is they had let teams know including the Spurs they were willing to trade him in certain packages but with the surgery it's unlikely anybody will want that trade. Between his injuries and his dad it's going to be hard to find a trade partner.
