Ingram is younger than Booker and has just as much upside if not more. He would be a great fit with Lebron. If I’m Lebron i sign and tell them to wait until 2019 to sign Kawhi. Tell Paul George thanks but no thanks.

I disagree with that. Ingram to me just doesn't show the fire that Booker does to me he's an eMott stat guy you have to remember Ingram was thought to be a Durant level player coming into the NBA that's what his expectations were he just kind of floats out there now

I never thought he was on Durant’s level but he will be a star eventually. He’s too skilled with potentially a great frame to add strength. It will just take a while.

So you think Lebron wants to wait a year to contend? I know he’s Superman, but he’s also 33 with a TON of wear and tear on that body. He has to know that his future opportunities are going to become increasingly more limited. I don’t think he’s content to take a year off the hunt for a championship.

Agree completely. Lebron is not in position to wait.

I don't think he'd be ok intentionally holding off but I don't think he'd mind missing a deep playoff run for 1 season. He's played in 8 straight finals. Counting playoff games, he's basically played 10 seasons in the time everyone else has played in 8. Getting 2 months off has to be welcomed, to a degree.

He's played in 595 of 656 regular season games over the last 8 years but an additional 168 playoff games in the last 8 seasons. That's insane. That's over 2 regular seasons worth of playoff games. 1/4 of a season a year, extra, and he only has 3 titles to show for it.

Lebron should come to Phoenix to rest a season. :wink2:

Where can he realistically go where he’s not taking a year off from winning a championship? He’s not going to Houston, Boston or Golden St.

I'm beginning to think Lebron will just go to the Lakers and try and fix things up over the next year or so. They will be playoff bound immediately, but obviously won't get past GSW. Lebron will factor in all aspects of the movie, and the biggest being that his family is behind the concept of living in LA.

The general rule is pretty much by year 3 you know what a guys gonna be if he's gonna be a star he's shown it by now. Guys show early that star quality again were talking star not good solid NBA player

So what about this.

I honestly don't think anybody is beating a healthy GS for a long time and all those guys are in there 20's if im not mistaken.

So what if Lebron goes to LA the home of Showtime and the Shaq/ Kobe Lakers and all those championship banners and he doesn't win a ring what's his legacy then

And for a guy like Lebron will only having 3 be seen as underachieving

I know this wont happen, so relax, but,,,,, If I were Lebron, at this stage of my career. I think Phx is pretty dang attractive right now. You're going to a team that's totally loaded with young, explosive talent but they lack veteran leadership. Lebron could completely re write the PHX script almost single handedly and his legacy could include taking not one, but TWO long suffering fan bases to their long awaited championship. For a guy who so desperately wants to be universally praised and recognized, that would be pretty huge in terms of the GOAT conversation.

What if Lebron joins Leonard in San Antonio. They would have Aldridge as well.

I wouldn't put it past Pops winning it all given the talent.

If Lebron could bring a championship to the Suns it would elevate his legacy... bringing a championship to a team that has never won it.

Booker, Jackson, Ayton and Lebron isn't bad. Much better than what he had in Cleveland.

That would basically be the crux of my entire pitch to Lebron. He wants a major legacy? That's a pretty big one.

Plus of course the Suns have some young players to help him carry the weight.

Yeah winning yet another one in LA would be neat and all but it's not going to change any hearts or minds about him in terms of the conversation. However, "I took 2 of the oldest franchises from last place to their first championship."

yikes, that would be tough to argue against even for the staunchest Lebron hater.

The downside being I could see Lebron being impatient with young players and the mistakes they are bound to make. It might not be the best thing for their long-term development. It's hard to know for sure if that is what happened with Irving because he seems like such a flake on his own, but that may have led to the blowing up of that Cavs "superteam."

Why? Not sure what that means.
Just would taint our first championship in that it would be all about Lebrons Legacy. That we had to pay arguably the best nba player ever to get us the win. The headline “Lebron wins Suns first championship” doesnt sound good to me.

I might feel diferrently if we didnt have all this young talent and on the verge of breaking out and winning one the old fashioned way, especially if we had won one before.

Also, not a Lebron fan. I want to see him lose.
