Leinart, Cards agree on six-year deal
The Arizona Cardinals and Matt Leinart have reached an agreement in principle on a six-year contract, ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting. According to sources, the contract could be worth up to $50.8 million if all incentives are reached. The deal calls for $14 million in guaranteed money.

I have posted this in another thread but I thought I would copy it over.

What do we think Matt will say about the timing of this signing? Since Denny blew his top today it really makes him and Tom Condon look like crap.

The answers he gives when directly asked about this issue will be fun to watch.

Chris Mortenson is reporting that the deal was completed when the Cardinals removed a hurdle regarding playing time escalators in the fourth season.

I'll be accepting apologies from everyone who said that this was Condon's fault on "The Official Apologies to Kerouac9 Thread".
