Wierd,
Read alot today about what Kyler Murray's thoughts were about the Cardinals organization and their thoughts about him.
It seems everything I've read lately has been from: "Sources". No quotes or statements from Murray at all..
Just from what I can gleam from reading...
Micheal Bidwill and Kyler Murray seem to be the two that are the most pissed about the way the season ended...
From the impressions of Kliff Kingsbury and Steve Keim's silence and end of the year statements, it appears they seem to be taking a more of; "OOhhh well, we will get them next year attitude".
Maybe I'm getting the wrong impression but just seems that way...
We'll see

Can happen but their defense looked solid when it matters
Even yesterday, they have much more speed
I can't see a defense being adequate with that lack of speed toughness and discipline in the front seven

When it matters being the playoffs right? Must be as in the regular season they were very similar.

Well, it's hard for a D to be solid when you have no offense and are on the field all the time. Kyler had 28 yards in the first half, 2 INT's, one of them a pick 6. Not sure what you expect the D to do with that.

Yes, our D got weaker in the last 6 games with Alford out and also Wilson for some games. But that's not why we got owned in the playoffs. Our offense sucked, Kyler specifically.

You’re not wrong. The 2 reportedly showing emotion are K1 and Mike B. Maybe the 2 of them are closer to being on the same page, than others think.

The ********* franchise QB better well be able to exhibit even a modicum of leadership all on his own. You're attempting to excuse the absolutely inexcusable.

Some pure nonsense in this thread to try absolve Kyler of his failings.

"It's Bidwills fault" and "Keim hasn't done enough". It's pure crap.

In the 30 years Mike Brown has owned the Bengals they have had 8 winning seasons. Someone said "Yeah but Mike Brown is a better roster builder than Keim". Huge Purleeese.

In 9 seasons as GM Keim has had 4 winning seasons and 2 of .500. Not defending him at all, I want him gone, but no way Mike Brown is a better roster builder.

Zac Taylor was nearly fired a year ago. Bengals fans were calling for his head. Again, not defending any of them but go back to the beginning of this season and every NFL fan would have said that Kliff, Keim and Bidwill were all better than Taylor and Mike Brown.

So how did the team with the 3rd worse SB odds, a HC that was favorite to be fired first and a GM/Owner considered one of the worst in the league make it to the Superbowl and 1:40 of winning it?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say a QB that played well and had team mates that he lead and who wanted to do their best for him. That's what QB's who can lead does. Not ones that moans and sulks and blames everyone else when things go wrong.

Weird. People are also different. Kids are also different and breaking the mold. Personally while I see this as a detriment short term...I see it positive over the long term. Kyler was never going to be what you wanted him to be...so suck it up....even as a franchise. See, bias. ;)

But honestly, the days of QBs bending a knee and changing who they are is becoming a thing of the past IMO. While it sucks for fans...I applaud it for the individual.
I hardly have the words to address this. Kyler, is that you? There's a world of difference between the younger generation being different and whiny babies throwing hissy fits because they sucked and blaming it on everyone else. And we're getting plenty of reports that this is exactly what happened. And it's even worse than what we feared. But, go ahead--keep applauding Kyler for being Kyler lol

The way our season ended, wouldn't most of us delete everything Cardinals related?

Honestly, I don't know if K1 and K2 will ever bring us to a super bowl.
I don't know if SK can bring us to a super bowl.
I'm not even sure Bidwill can bring us to a super bowl.
you should make that into a t-shirt. Cardinals logo on the front and then that on the back. then just switch the names as they come and go. I would buy that.

Here's my questions on the Mort report. Kyler scrubs social media, a few days later the Cards site does the same thing to "poke fun" at Murray. And now we're being told the Cards are furious with Murray's lack of maturity and leadership?

So the organization that wants their QB to be mature, immaturely trolled him on social media? Did someone on the website go rogue, is the website completely disconnected from the team, or are the Cards really that stupid that while thinking they need a more mature QB decided a good way to handle that would be to poke fun at him on social media?

The only thing that makes sense to me is maybe the Cards did that to give Kyler an out? Ok you did yours, we did ours now we can say this was just a thing that has nothing to do with contracts or issues and let's start over, and then a player looking just like AJ Green messed it all up by leaking a story to ESPN?

Damn. Seems we didn't do our character homework and took a child with the #1 overall pick.
Alpha cardinal designation.

This seems like an overstatement to some pretty gentle constructive criticism about what to focus on this off-season.

The reporting definitely escalated quickly.

I thought people were saying yesterday that's why Bidwill was really mad, it wasn't about just how the season ended, it was about Kyler?

I agree about the reporting like I said if it weren't Mort I'd be more inclined to just accept it as fact. I'm not sure how connected he is anymore

Told you all earlier this wasn't something small, Kyler is quickly losing fans in AZ. I don't think anyone denies he has raw talent, but the league seems to have figured him out and his response was to try to use his athleticism to overcome it, which failed miserably. I've seen enough of him to know that he is not our franchise QB and it pains me to say it because for a minute there I thought he could be.

His second-half collapses, perplexing play, low football IQ, pouting, are all traits of a non-franchise QB. I would not give him that kind of money, either.

So he was a pretty good losing QB. And then became a really good winning QB once getting Jamar Chase. Got it.
Yeah, he played ok. His reads were mediocre. That first drive when they went for it on 4th down.... I mean you gotta throw it to a wide open Higgins. There were a handful of plays like that. It will eat at him for a few days.

But, he is tough and didn't make any turnovers. That will always keep you in the game.

I have four kids in their twenties. This is exactly the type of thing they do. "This job makes me sad! I QUIT!"

Heck, being dragged to the ground by Donald on the final play he still nearly got the ball to a Bengal player.

Jesus, if that's true you trade him for the biggest haul you can get, as quickly as possible. I'm swiftly coming to this conclusion anyway. We knew he had an attitude problem; that wasn't in doubt to any but the blind KM supporters. Now, though...it's worse than any of us could have thought.
