Wow. This is a pretty big deal. It means neither QB has done anything near enough.
Please excuse me if this has been posted already. Got it from the Cardinals Facebook page.

I think it means it's the last preseason game and they don't intend to play Kolb or Skelton at all?
Kolb will be out of action again by the end of week two anyway. All it means is that the QB copetition is over. Kolb haters aint gonna be happy.
That probably means the opposite will happen. One thing Whisenhunt made very clear: Lindley, regardless of his performance, is not in the mix to be a starter in the regular season.

Dawgstradomous strikes again!!! Psychic psychedelic hippie dot com.Well, it's a good thing that Whis has shut this quarterback competition down once one player had clearly separated themselves from the pack.
I'm so excited to hear about how awesome Kolb has been in practices that fans and the media haven't seen to justify his placement atop the depth chart.

Actually the media has said that. Somers was on with Jurecki just last week saying that very thing. They see all of the practices and both of them agreed that Kolb was the clear cut winner in practices this offseason.
I actually don't see what the big deal is. He knows who is going to start at least that is what the media is assuming after listening to him speak, which means that QB knows, and the team knows. Some people are only up in arms because Wiz didn't tell you what his decision is, of which he has no obligation to. Teams start game planning for game one opponents this week. Lindley wont be the only one starting who usually doesn't start by the way. Powell is going to start as well, as will a few others. Much ado about nothing IMO.
We are screwed no matter who the QB is because neither one has the long term talent that we need.
One thing is certain: Kolb or Big John beating on scrubs won't convince the warring parties that the other deserves to start. I'll back whomever is under centre come the 9th of September.
