that is pretty precise for the draft

so if he is rated at #7 or 8 and you pick him at #5, is that considered a reach?

Ehhh.... Maybe not. Remember though. I am no expert, and I have never stayed at a Holiday Inn Express.

I would cut them all except Skelton. Draft a QB with our #1 and get the best FA QB who is willing to come to this team.
THIS!!!!!
I would also pick up the best o-linemen FA I could get my hands on and then pick two more in the draft.

I would also pick up the best line-backer FA I could get my hands on and pick two more up in the draft.

I would also choose a defensive identity and hire a well respected and known DC who could utilize the misused talent that already exist on that side of the ball.

1-Andrew Luck-QB
2-Patrick Peterson-CB
3-Prince Amukamara-CB
4-Cam Newton-QB
5a-D'Quan Bowers-DE/OLB (I would have to see him standing up first)
5b-Robert Quinn-OLB (I have major concerns with him)
7-AJ Green-WR
8-Nick Fairley-DT
9-Ryan Mallett-QB
10-???

It's too bad.......the only team with 2 first rounders is New England......was thinking of trading #5 to a team with two #1's, but there's no way they'd move up.

Denver's at #2........

Who knows where they will go, except probably not QB. They could conceivably take a d-linemen or Quinn or even a CB. They have terrible defensive personnel, but do not discount AJ Green if they hire an offensive guy for head coach. Green, D Thomas, Lloyd, and Decker would give them some potent offensive weapons.

I don't see any possibility of us trading down unless the Cardinals are not sold on Quinn or either Newton/Mallett.

Personally I want Luck, then either P Peterson/P Amukamara if he isn't available.

I think Fairley, Bowers, & Quinn. One of these three will be a Bronco.

My top three picks are Andrew Luck, Gabe Carimi and AJ Green. I don't see a defensive player that I want at this point in the top five picks.

Carolina - Luck or Bowers/Quinn

Two defensive guys who played very close to Charlotte in college.

Denver - Fairley, Quinn, Bowers. One of these 3 for sure IMO.

Buffalo. Quinn, Fairley or Bowers again.

Cincy - Peterson, Green, or last of the three Defensive players I mentioned.

If I had to guess right now:

Luck
Fairley
Bowers
Green

That leaves us with Peterson or Newton.

If Luck and Green are gone then I would take Carimi. I don't like Bowers and I don't like Peterson at five. Really though. We don't have a QB. I would gladly trade our entire draft to get Andrew Luck. He is the next Peyton Manning. This kind of QB doesn't come around very often.

Carimi would be a reach of Levi Brown proportions. Horrible pick if we do that at #5. But, it would fit the Cards MO.

Peterson is an instant starter and would move DRC to #2 and Toler to Nickel. This would allow whatever pass rushers we pick up more time to rush.

Plus, Peterson is a monster on Punt and Kickoff returns.

What makes Carimi more appealing at 5 than Peterson or Newton?

Wow! I'll take that bet! Von Miller is by far the best pass rushing linebacker I have seen in this draft. If he doesn't go in the top 15 picks I will be shocked.

Yeah, he's a playmaker. If he has a good combine, he could be top 10.
