It might be interesting to see where "the Flame" is on that map of the island Locke saw in the hatch. Anyone still have that? I think its on the forum somewhere.

Ah, well. I was close. "Andrei," "Andrea." I sort of impressed myself just by being able to get that close.

Okay, I'm caught up. I think I'm going to try to watch Lost only every three weeks. It was nice to watch them back to back like that.

I did the same thing Jason. It was really nice watching them in sequence like that.

Cue Twilight Zone music...

Creepy ending, very, very good episode.

Yeah, that was weird. Maybe Jack is just going along with whatever because he has some plan or something. Kate looked pretty perturbed.

Nice to see some more back story on Claire. Interesting stuff.

That crazy guy was about to say he knew Locke was paralyzed. Would have been interesting to see everyone else's reactions.

He would have said a lot more than just that.

He was on the topic of how they were flawed and the 'list'

But then of course someone says 'Look pretty butterfly!' and they all look and go 'ooooooh' and drop everything.

Yes he was about to say the John Locke I know is paralyzed, and she cut him off. I suspect that's why Locke pushed him into the alarm system he was afraid he'd tell his secret?

Weird ending, at first they were obscuring Jack so you're wondering is that really Jack. then they showed him so now you're wondering is he playing along, is he brainwashed from that room?

Good episode, last 2 have been really good it's picking up steam again.

The ending was very very good. The look on his face, the way the camera filmed that scene...he sort of emphasized the ball spike in a just very, very creepy way.

That was great.

Some other things to note.

Obviously if you can't go in, you can't get out of that place without going through that fence...I think. So you can be locked in.

Anyone else think it's amazing that only 80 days have passed?

Put yourself in their shoes, the way they all know each other now...would 80 days be enough for everything that's happened to actually happen?

Kind of interesting.

So I wonder how Jack finds out he has a nephew and sister on the Island?

That was really Jack. Remember the brain washing technique the others were using? They conditioned Jack to replace Ethan as their replacment surgeon. Just my guess. Very stepford wives type ending. Creepy.

Also remember the previous people taken that Jack saw while in the cage. They were unusually "normal" for people who were kidnapped. I think that all points to the others "reconditioning".

Lost is so back IMO.

they will have more of a challenge getting back unless either they brought their tree with them or they are allowed to leave the compound by the entry way - wherever that is...

So where was the french chick at the end? She wasn't with them in the jungle.

Also, any fence has a gate. Thats the way it was in the middle ages, the weakest point of any castle was the gate. I don't go over that fence, because you don't know how high that sensor goes. I walk around until I find the gate.

The 80 days question... is it long enough for Sun to suddenly not have an accent? Very annoying continuity issue!

long enough time? probably not in the real world - but they are on the island - so who knows. it could be the island, it could be that time is different there or it could be poor continuity.

The Russki told them that the sensor field or whatever encircled the entire compound after one of them suggested walking around until they found the gate.

Right. Nobody suggested that there wasn't a way to turn it off. Clearly their must be. However, it's not like they could ask them to switch it off for them. So going around to the gate, even if they wanted to, made no sense.

I just watched it. Pretty good episode. It was funny at the end when Jack was playing catch with that guy, it just looked so goofy.

Who's his nephew?
