God I just love this TV show. It breaks my heart that it's going to be over a little over a year from now. I've got to do some work. Will post some thoughts in the morning.

Next week's episode is going to be good. Can't wait. Also, how cool would it be if when they try and set things right.......it doesn't go as planned and they only slightly alter what has happened? They could use that as an excuse to bring some of our old favorite characters back to life.:D

Someone's going to step on a leaf, kill a bug, and we'll have dinosaurs in 2007. Good theory.

Since we saw last night that Locke could travel to the future, is it possible that he actually does die in 2007, but that he appears to be alive after his death because he had traveled forward in time, but eventually ends up back in time to die?

Could this same situation be true for Charlie, Christian and a whole slew of others who are dead but are seen after their deaths?

Was the H-Bomb the fail-safe device that Desmond set off in 2004 when the numbers weren't punched? If it was, then it can't be set off in 1977 without a re-set of the timeline.

Will Locke tell Christian to tell himself to move the wheel?

Why wouldn't they take Faraday into the temple and save him like they did for Ben?

I'm starting to hope that Jack & Kate are Adam & Eve as their characters are really stating to grate.

I can hardly wait for next week (but I'm not looking forward to the long wait until next season). :(

This probably isn't going to happen, but I've thought more and more that Jacob actually is Jack--the Jack of 1977 aged another 30 years. So in other words, Jack does not die and does not come back to the present time. This is just a theory that's WAY out there.

I was thinking this myself.

But then again, I am completely lost at this point. :)

Ben was still alive, but sick, Faraday was dead. As Ben said, "dead is dead, there is no coming back from that."

Not even close to what I was suggesting. Wow...good comment on your part.

I just thought it would be fun for them to change "some" event that could lead to an alternate time line where some of the characters that have died are alive. Not that I think it would happen or could happen.

My guess is that they release the energy before they have a chance to set off the bomb. I don't see them erasing everything that happened after they boarded the flight (assuming DF theory was correct). Maybe they all die trying if what Richard says is correct.

Also, I have never been clear on the relationship between 2 things.

The Swan Station - houses the energy (where the hatch is eventually built)
The Orchid Station - houses the wheel that releases the energy to move things through time.

Anybody have a clue how these are related?

PS. I don't think the Bomb is related to any of these? Anybody else?

Please stop adding to the questions I already have. :p

When the announcer said "next week, on the season finale of Lost," I almost cried. I had no idea! What am I gonna do on Wednesday nights now?

We were about 2 episodes behind. We caught up. I praised this TV show. Faraday and the time stuff is right up my alley.

I love the storylines right now, and can't wait for the finale.

I can not believe we have to wait 9 months for to see what happened.

I know. Seeing "2010" was not enjoyable. :(

Guess Sawyer is gonna hate Jack even more now, unless, of course, what Juliet did at the end worked.

And what was up with the dual Locke thing? And who is coming? And why did Locke look scared?

Are Sun and Jin ever gonna get back together?

Was nice to see Rose and Bernard. I am thinking the theories of the skeletons were on target. Must be them.

What a mind blowing episode.

I am assuming the alive Locke is the man from when we first met Jacob - what the loophole is, I don't know - maybe he couldn't kill Jacob, but someone else could.

Jacob meeting all the main characters earlier - wow.

Loved seeing Rose, Bernard and Vincent.

Poor Juliet.

So did it work?

Sucks we have to wait 9 months.

Total wow. Didn't see that coming. Am guessing that was Charlie's real guitar. And what was up with Juliet finding his ring? Seemed a little random, though I know there is not such thing in this show.

Poor Juliet.

I'm not gonna lie. I cried.

Sun found the ring, not Juliet.

I so didn't cry when Juliet died :)

Great finale!

Very sad about Sawyer and Juliet. They had real, adult love and mutual respect - vs the whole Kate/Sawyer thing which seems driven purely by passion.

Great mind-blowing twist at the end with Locke...so many possibilities...recasts lots of events from past seasons.

Since Jacob appears to be able to go where he wants, and appears as himself to others, it looks like all the 'previous Jacob encounters' were the 'other ancient guy'. Should we call him Esau, perhaps? Or Smokey?

So Esau, or whomever Jacob's arch-enemy is at the beginning of the finale back in the Black Rock past, is the one who assumed the form of Christian Shepard. And put in motion so very many pieces of the Lost plot over the last few seasons, including sending Locke off-island to ensure time travel events and Locke's death...all to get to Jacob.

Note Locke's comment at the end to Jacob about how hard it was to get there - to that moment. Tons of work to change the rules or work past whatever loop rules were keeping him from getting to Jacob.

Aaargh! 2010! So long!

Loved the Rose/Bernard stuff, too. "You kids go play with your guns and stuff - we're chillin and happy to have time with each other in paradise."

Definitely think they are the Adam & Eve couple whose bones are in the cave from the earlier seasons.
