Soft division...only team they compete against, not in a rebuild is Jacksonville. If TN keeps Henry, they have a fairly easy road to making the playoffs.

Sure, but Texans could turn it around fast, as we've seen franchises do before. They were pretty competitive last year even and they got a lot of picks. Colts are better than their record, although they are missing a QB.

Titans still missing a lot of pieces and Henry is at the age where RB's fall off cliffs. They will be competitive.

20's is still a playoff spot, so it's not just the division that they are going up against. The AFC is loaded, I'd be surprised they are picking in the 20's in the next two years.

So many on this board are in denial about how the league sees Tyree Wilson.

I see a massive man who moves very well and has elite length, power, and speed. Dude is a human wrecking ball.

I can easily see teams thinking he's a better prospect than Will Anderson Jr.

(I like Anderson better because I value production, but Wilson's traits are crazy good).
Let it be known that Chris Simms also saw Zach Wilson as his #1 QB from the 2021 class. Yes, even over Trevor Lawrence.

Drafting Tyree Wilson would need be just so lame.

Slow get-off, last one off the line all the time with a very mediocre bend. Won’t be able to just out-power NFL OTs all the time. The fact he didn’t explode until he became a Redshirt SR. is also very concerning too.

I can’t give you names, but I too have heard they aren’t sold on Anderson being a generational talent. They believe him to be a very good player, but not a certain Pro Bowl type. With that in mind, I agree the odds of a trade are very high.
SMH The more things change, the more they stay the same...

Yep, teams get stupid and draft based on potential all the time.

Meh. I just don't get the argument that he has long arms and that overrides all the very obvious flaws in his tape.

There are a whole bunch of Edge guys I'd rather have. Foskey ran 4.58 at 264lbs and has a 9.54 RAS. He's almost identical athletically to Clowney coming out. Foskey had 10+ sacks the last 2 seasons and 23 total TFLs.

He's better statistically and likely better physically than Wilson. Foskey's film is better. Foskey's hand usage and pass rush moves are way better. He can actually win around the Edge. Everything about Foskey is better except his arms are 1.58" shorter. Yet Foskey is projected late 1st or early 2nd and Wilson top 5.

There's nothing on Wilson's tape that looks like this.

This years draft is going to be nothing like what people think. That's normally the case to some degree but I think this year even more so. I think there are a bunch of guys that the league see much differently than the media.

I see a guy running around REALLY BAD tackles.
I see Wilson violently use a stab technique to physically dominate tackles.

Kiper reinforced the rumor I mentioned, “Tennessee would send Arizona picks Nos. 11 and 41 in this draft, plus a 2024 first-round selection and likely either a 2025 first- or second-rounder as well.”
Yeah, he had us taking Tyree Wilson (#11), Quentin Johnston (#34) and Mazi Smith (#41) in his 2 round mock. Plus the extra high pick in the next two drafts. Plus, the Johnston pick could enable us to pick up another second rounder (and maybe another pick) for Hopkins, if we indeed trade him. That's quite a haul for a rebuilding team.

Although DT is a huge need, so is OL and he had Steve Avila (#51) and John Michael Schmitz (#57) going later. I personally would have gone OL over DT with that extra 2nd rounder we acquired.

That would be a nightmare trio. All 3 are boom or bust candidates.

This isn't about Tyree at 1 EDGE, it is Anderson at 5.

Come on man. Has Tyree Wilson played against anyone who's made it or going to make it to the NFL?

He never went up against Charles Cross who declared and didn't play in the 2021 Liberty Bowl. All his production is overpowering future tractor salesmen.

I'd put oskey's level of competition above Wilson's and he still beat them with an array of moves. Wilson has nothing but power.

These guys are all from Big 12 and are on draft big boards.

Anton Harrison, OK
Cooper Beebe, KState
Steve Avilia, TCU

These guys are all from SEC and on draft big boards.

Broderick Jones, GA
O'Cyrus Torrence, FL

I'm sure there may be more, I'm just looking at top 10 tackles and interior linemen. The Big 10 has the most by far.

I meant who he actually went against not in the vicinity.

He played a handful of snaps vs Harrison and did nothing. He was mostly over the RT and got handled. That OU film is a great watch for how bad his get off is. There must be double digit snaps where he's asleep in his stance.

Cooper Beebe was at Guard when he played Kansas. He never went against Avila, Torrence or Jones.

All this is accurate from John Owning.

Watch Anderson Jr vs Darnell Wright.

Anderson is still paying Wright his lunch money.

Wright is a really good RT prospect who quickly realized that Anderson couldn't win with a bull rush, so he dominated Anderson.

No brainer to take this haul. It would be a better haul than the bears got for the number 1 pick to move down the same number of spots. I get the Will Anderson love I really do but this would be absurd to pass on for a rebuilding team that needs a heavy infusion of young talent.

Hopefully this type of trade package comes to fruition.
