I get that he's not perfect but again we are doing something that really hasn't been done, rookie QB with one year a a college starter(full time) and we are throwing the ball more than basically anybody else ever has with a rookie. There are 3 QB's in the entire league who've thrown more passes than he has, Ryan, Goff and Dalton, 2 of them on the worst teams in the NFL so because they're behind. We're doing it by design. On the run Kliff is completely shifting the offense, Kyler lost his favorite WR and he's getting better week over week. He's learning, he's adapting.

7 TD's to 4 INT's is not great but again if you took away the plays where someone is open by scheme it's just not very easy to throw a TD with this receiving group nobody, not even Larry, gets open 1 on 1 in the redzone.

Give this kid a legit #1, get Kirk healthy and look out.

I don’t get it either. Look, it’s not going to candy and nuts every play every game. There will be times when we ask what was he thinking.

But I for one see a pretty darn good qb that appears to be getting better and better.

Takes more than flashy stats and moral victories to impress me.I do think Murray has flashed good skills at times and other times he looked like a lost kid in the tall grass.Yesterday was his best game IMO.Wanting to see that level of play over a whole season or two is asking too much?
Some fans are not members of the instant gratification generation with attention spans of a hardboiled egg. Some have been fans since Charley Johnson was QB and have been teased before by Cards finding their QBOF (Lomax for several years,Plummer,Leinart etc).So pardon the hell out of me for remaining skeptical and wanting to see more for longer.

Got it, you’re not asking for much. Just 5,440 yards and 48 touchdowns for two straight seasons then you’ll consider coming around. Ridiculous.

Um.. I’m part of the Cardinal alumni that endured years of despair including San Etchevery, Billy Gambrel and Sonny Randle. I’d say I’m as good an expert on terrible teams and players. I’m going out on s limb and say Kyler Murray is going to be a cut above and I’m going to enjoy all the peaks and valleys along the way.

It’s his prerogative. I just can’t imagine sitting on the sidelines waiting for failure.
Look, of all people on this board I understand being viewed through a negative lens. All those years we were absolutely dreadful and I called it as I saw it I was labeled a darksider.

but there’s calling it like you see it and there’s digging in to your position the face of increasingly mounting evidence that your position is wrong. I don’t get the doubling down. One of human beings greatest traits is the ability to assess a situation and change perspective. I guess I don’t understand the concept of rather being proven right than understanding when you’re wrong and changing your perspective to be correct moving forward.

Good for you.I remain skeptical and am waiting to see more.Wanting consistently good QB play is what I hope for.If its Murray..that`s fine....if its not then next draft pick up .

I don’t understand it either. I thought Sweringer was a great signing. I ate my deep fried crow. I though Issabella was a great pick. Not ready to but the bird in the oven quite yet but the oven is being pre-heated right now. It’s okay to be wrong.

Right. I’m happy to be proven wrong because the next conversation I won’t be.
