QB aside it's 3 main areas of need at Edge, iDL and LB.

I'm not too concerned about OL at the moment because I expect some players to re-sign and I need to hear more about Williams injury, but RT may be added to that list. I'm happy with the talent we have or have developing in other areas such as safety, CB, WR etc

Look at the 2021 team that won 11 games, or the 2014 and 2015 rosters. They weren't stacked with big names, but we are missing a couple top tier talents like Campbell and P2.

What we mainly miss though is a QB that is as good as Carson Palmer was.

Big disagreement on the OL. Not sure what re-signings you are counting on. Jonah coming off injury. Hern off an injury. Brown was very mid. Beach is getting real old. Adams was ok.

Our OL is in big trouble as it stands, with more problems elsewhere on the roster. Monti really backed himself into a corner this offseason.

Unless and until he lands some stars and gets this team over the hump, Monti is not "the guy." For the time being, he's potential, hopium, and not good enough.

This cannot be understated. Both premium positions. And he ended up with the less talented guy. If the guys taken with the additional draft capital end up being studs it changes the equation, but if they’re just average starters or worse it was a bad trade.

Not only that, but he didn’t even get the best LT in the first round. If you’re gonna make that trade and not gonna get the premium pass rusher you better get the premium LT at least.

Quarterbacks are 75% of the game. You get a bad one and the roster doesn't matter, you get a good one and they can carry mediocre teams. The reason "Many teams look good early in the season, but when games start to matter, that's when the better teams win" is because they have quarterbacks that play well when the pressure is on.

This is an insane statement and I feel like I put an enormous amount of credit/blame on QBs.
