Hey you know how the Cardinals mirror the Longhorns. That means we're going to have a huge offensive breakout against the Eagles next week and our D is going to take the week off.

38-28 Cardinals. You heard it here first. :D

Dang. Now we're jinxing college players. (Tyler Wilson) Do me a favor. Please don't talk about the Cardinals drafting any Texas players.

Well we don't have many seniors so the ASFN jinx can't really hurt the Longhorns.
I think Jordan Hicks has a good shot at the Butkus award and could be a good replacement for Paris Lenon if he decides to leave early :D.

I think I may have jinxed the QB from a couple years ago. Can't remember his name, but the kid who came in and lit it up after Colt McCoy and his dad decided Alabama was playing too rough, was a guy who I thought would be very good. I think he has since transferred.

I don't think we jinxed him. We may have helped him. With the way Arkansas's OL plays, it's probably a good thing he didn't play. Bama may have killed him.

IMO he's very much like RGIII & getting better each year like Griffin did. In 3-4 yrs this kid might be a top 7-10 QB. A great arm & I think WVU has a shot to win the national championship.

He is bigger than RGIII but I understand the comparison I am a WVU homer so I am trying not to be too biased watching him, but wow, he really is the real deal. He is seriously accurate and has gotten better since last year.

Those numbers against JMU were for 3 quarters, he didnt play in the 4th.

They play a little stiffer competition in the next 3 weeks, so now would be a good time to start watching him....

A NC is certainly doable but will depend on how well the defense comes along. They arent a NC defense right now.

That's the first time I've ever seen an after the fact jinx. Hicks left the Mississippi game with a groin pull! You may have a future as a jinx.

As for the QB you are referring to the kid was a system QB who was in over his head at Texas. He never was very good but the HS where he played has a program that made him look better than he was. They didn't miss a beat when he graduated. He's at SMU now.

Yeah, but then he calls out his team for quitting and he didn't even play. Not good leadership, IMO.

Omg he's sooooo bad, I watched him against A&M last week and he's worse than ever...makes 'Ol Josh McClown look like an NFL HOFer. I scored some tix to the TCU game this week & I bet that games on ice after quarter #1. :D

It depends on the situation. If they did indeed quit, then it was good leadership. Maybe the team just went through the motions thinking they didn't have a chance with the backup QB and, therefore, in essence quit. He called them out to let them know it is unacceptable to have that mindset. I don't know the entire situation, so I am just speculating, but I would have no problem if that was the case.
