Book looks like he’s in mid season form and Ayton gets himself out of the game within 4 minutes. Great.

Ayton getting early fouls is exactly what the Suns don't need.

Suns lead 12-9.

Booker (7) and Bridges (5) have all the Suns points thus far.

Nice to see Payne come down and score off the quick turnaround shot inside the lane.

Good to see the Suns up 17-10 at the 3:30 mark of the 1st quarter with Ayton still finding ways to not be available.

Luca is off to a slow start.

Booker is so damn good. Nice fadeaway six footer left short by Ayton. That guy just has NO BALLS.

The Mavs will heat up at some point soon... Suns haven’t taken advantage of the Mavs putrid start.
Ayton settling for mid-range shots and not converting...
Could be setting up for a bad turn of events... as Ayton gets hit with his 3rd foul and still in the first quarter... UGh...

Other than Booker and Bridges not a lot of good. Somehow up by 1, but don’t feel good about this.

Jalen fouled driving to basket. He misses both free throws.

Galloway with corner 3-pointer. Someone needs to start the fire.

As in the bubble, Payne will be the key. If he can at least keep the ship afloat when he’s the primary ball-handler that will go a long way towards success. I worry that no Saric will have significant collateral impact on the team/Payne when Booker and Paul are out.

I would like to see Jevon look to double/crash down on Luka when he starts to move into the paint. Our rotations have to be sound to protect the 3-pt line and Ayton needs to be plugged in to avoid foul trouble and guard against Powell’s rim runs.

Monty doing a good job with rotations so far. Our defense looks amazing, if a bit aggressive.
