You should know considering you had one of the biggest fail threads of the year last week.

Okay. Obviously Max Hall's production isn't a problem after he (1) went 58 attempts without a TD and (2) was benched for poor performance after being terrible in his second start.

And running the ball certainly was a terrible idea.

Seriously: Are you Max Hall's little brother?

You're thread basically stated that because he didnt throw a TD in a certain amount of pass attempts, he is an automatic failure.

You were given several indisputable examples to the contrary.

...just sayin'

Listen, I dont love max, and I certainly dont like DA either. My thing is DA has had like 6 years of NFL experience to prove he is worthless, there is no way 2 games is enough time to judge max hall as a football player. I dont know if youre on a personal crusade for toast or what but the hate youre constantly spewing is overboard.

Personally I hope the Cards lose so we can draft a good QB. I dont think any of the quarterback we have (including matt) are or would have been the answer.

Im not sure how anyone can say Max Hall is the QBOF. I havent seen anything from him that tells me he can be this teams QB.

He hasnt been accurate
His throws dont look very catchable
His arm strength is questionable
He locks onto his receivers at the snap.

I just dont see it.

Max hall:

To small
No arm
Hands the size of a 6 yr old little girl
No pocket awareness
Balls float
makes bad decisions
accuracy is putrid

I dont know if he could bag groceries!! I mean the only thing he and Kurt Warner have in common is they have a strong faith in God. And unless God comes down and lays hands on Max Hall...He shouldn't be even wearing a uniform. He is not good.

Hey K9, you can throw the egg on face pic on me too amigo (I deserve it). Hall looked like a undrafted rookie (like you called it). I am really concerned about our QB situation.

I am not ready to give up --long term -- on Max

but-- when people were clamoring for him they asked rhetorically how much worse than Anderson he could be. We just saw that indeed, worse QB play was possible.

All rookies struggle. A guy like Max who doesn't have the big arm better know exactly where he wants to go with the ball and deliver it not a half second late. Even on his good decisions today, the ball was late (its why there was a Seattle db draped on the WR when the ball got there).

no two ways about it Fitz is gone next year

Doubt it. This franchise knows better than to let Fitz go. Fitz is the top revenue maker for this team with jersey sales and other paraphernalia. They will make a hard push to re-sign him in the offseason, even if it means using our #1 pick to draft a quarterback

I seriously doubt he resigns here. He looks frustrated as hell out there. Boldin left (yeah, we let him go) and is having nice success in Baltimore. I don't think it will be about money for Fitz. I am sure Minnesota would love to sign him and, no doubt, he'd love to play there. (Of course, they will have QB problems next year as well, at least I think they will.)

AGreed...In fact I think we should make Fitz our QB. I mean we have made the Micheal Jordan of football obsolete!!!!! Great Job Whiz.

Max Hall is MUCH better than what we saw today. The issue that stands out, however, is whether he can take the pounding.

I think you start DA and hope for the best...but when the team needs a spark you go to Max.

In the interim, as early as tonight, I go and offer a contract to Jeff Garcia. Get another veteran option in here. Go with 4 QBs on the roster.

Max Hall's updated stats:

43.7 rating 30/59 51% 289 yards 4.9 y/a 0 TD 3 INT 4 fumbles 2 fumbles lost

Rookie or not, Max Hall really does suck.

at first I thought you were giving Max a compliment. Because sucks would be an improvement on what I saw today. That was about as bad QB playing as I ever seen right behind Delhomme against us in the playoffs.

I was almost screaming for Tom Tupa.

As i wrote in the other thread: Yes he did had a bad game but the conditions were horrible early in the game. He has shown great accuracy even down the field in last game, today it was completely off even on recievers in the flat open.. The rain did had an impact IMO, it was obvious his small hands were more sensitive to that ..I expected him to have a bad game before it even started , i'm not suprised at all

Besides - our tackles got killed...And that is arguably the worst place to play for a QB...

He will be a good QB, i believe in him all the way. Even with KW there was alternation with Leinart early on until the chemistry settled down 100 %

As for KW, i really would love to see some of the old threads on that subject after he had 5 INT games with multiple fumbles ...

This team shows up in games they need to win. This was obviously not one of those. At home, they are going to destroy Seattle. Imagine a game without all those mistakes by the special teams and our O-Line?

The Cards are going to win this division

“Obviously, I was disappointed with how I played,” Hall said

This is way he will be good. He blames no other than Max Hall. Eventough it really is a combination of many many things , weather, the stadium and our tackles and TE's that left guys basically unblocked and poor play from Max

Uh, When Warner had a 5 fumble game, he had the MVP's and ring behind him. In other words, there was no reason to get alarmed. He usually had a game like that every season. Hall doesn't have an offensive TD in his pocket yet, so I wouldn't be quick to make that comparison.

A least Delhomme completed more than 4 passes to Cardinal players that game...

Wow I am really happy to see this. He at least realizes he sucks.

Hall has one very good game and one bad game behind him. I don't know how you can make any statistical conclusions on him? Nobody made the comparison, you concluded as such, but i illustrated the non logical overreactions and how they are made

What you need to evaluate him on is his accuracy, toughness and leadership. He has shown all three to me so far, so he is capable of doing this. This game was impossible due to weather, O-Line, Seattle...

He will be fine

Zing!

Seriously, I would give him another game, but he rips of another 4-16 performance, I go to Skelton.

DA stunk it up almost as bad as Hall today.

God, this is awful.

Skelton must be licking his chops right now (LOL at the though of Skelton licking his chops!) :(
