McCown on Versus right now

For whoever is interested, Josh Mccown is playing on Versus right now. I know it is only the UFL, but he has zip on the ball, just ran for 14 yards, nice touch. He is dominating that league right now. Looks great. I hope he gets another look in the NFL with a team needing a QB.

Probably won't happen. Most teams in the NFL are set at QB and have no need to go looking elsewhere.

Two of my best friends are playing in the UFL, and some of their contracts are so difficult to get out of to go to an NFL team. One of them can't leave unless he is guaranteed a starting job and signs a contract for more than one year. The other is stuck during the season, but once the seasons is up he is able to buy out of his contract next year if another team signs him. The UFL and NFL need to just get together and create a minor league like system, instead of just practice squads...let them actually get some game time.

I think that's what happened to Baggs, the linebacker we had this summer. The Cards wanted to bring him back but he's locked into a contract now.

Agreed. It would be nice to see Skelton in actual game situations instead of holding the clipboard.
