We’re going to sign Brock F’ing Osweilier. Watch.

Brock and nick Foles would be a good competition - I still ain’t gave up on Gabbert, Stanton or even Barkley - I mean I don’t even have cousins graded that much ahead of them - it’s really about the system running the g damned ball.

From Arians to McCoy is like going from biscuits to Triscuits.

Then most of this board should be happy, since there complaints were pouring out at the end of the year because Arians was being stubborn and kept going after biscuits, instead of changing his offense to better match his roster.

The Cardinals signed a coordinator that has experience in creating offenses for teams with no or questionable quarterback play. McCoy hasn't called a play and the ink is not dry on the contract and now the complaint is going back to he won't be aggressive enough.

That would be a catch-22.

I used to hate being in a catch-22 situation in my youth, now I love being in that situation. If no matter what you do, you are going to be wrong in the eyes of the people watching, then logically one should not care about the people watching. Either do what you want, or nothing at all. You are in trouble just for showing up to take on the situation, so use that to your advantage. Worst thing that can happen is you get in trouble with the people who had wrote you off in the beginning anyway, best thing that can happen, is you succeed, and you succeed doing it your own way.

Heck, even if you succeed, most will find something to complain about even in the midst of success. This board does it, see no further than the tearing down of this team in the 2015 season after the Seahawks game at the end of the season. So many fans jumped off the band wagon while the Cardinals were on their way to a 1st round bye and playoff run it was a joke.

I don’t think the current Cardinals offense personnel is significantly better than what McCoy had with the Chargers. Phillip Rivers is a much, much better player than anything Arizona has to offer and that itself shifts things. David Johnson is a beast and Fitzgerald can still play but McCoy had Keenan Allen too and our offense were still vanilla and predictable.

Oh, you are definitely right about that. I meant what most seem to expect is available among the offensive personnel Arizona will have when the regular season start. I am specifically thinking a new shining starting quarterback and a least one more good wide receiver.

It is of course debatable, and you are obviously right that it is a major thing that you guys had Philip Rivers.

If you can't run a productive offense without Peyton Manning and Philip Rivers...that should be red flag #1.

#2, if you are an offensive minded head coach and you get fired when have you Philip Rivers as your QB, that is another red flag.

I give Mike McCoy two years before he is let go. The only hope is that they give him Cousins who could help him stick around by giving us the consistent 8-8 record. The Cardinals seem to be content with mediocrity.

I hope I am wrong.

Oh yeah? Please tell me where the Chargers and Broncos rushing offense ranked when McCoy was with them. I’ll give you a hint because I’m a Bolts fan, not very good.

As to the second part of your post....lmao! I needed a good laugh, thank you.
My Bronco fan friends seem to like him

Draft position states we are 15th in the NFL right now, so you are what your record is.

We will see what happens in 2018.
We are in a worst predicament then most teams in the NFC and by far the worst in the NFCWEST. Even perennial losers like Tampa can build around their young franchise qb if they know how to do it (which they don’t).

The Cards have a huge uphill climb that requires the best draft Keim has ever done and no time to draft small school projects. We need the largest turnover in the NFL right now.

Say what you want but they have a young franchise qb, we DO NOT.

I will say you are correct that we do not. I will also say that they do not. They have a spotty, head case going into the final year of his rookie deal. My guts say he wont see a second contract with that team. UNLESS they blame the coach. Winston is not a good QB.

They would be STUPID not to franchise him, BA would’ve took him to the next level, a good coach with a quality team would make him a perennial pro-Bowler, damn the overrated crab legs stunts, you kidding me??

Repeated sexual assault allegations isn't the same thing as stealing crab legs. I watch the guy play. Has the talent, but too much bravado, and I don't see a leader who can take his team to the next level.

One in college which was PROVEN to be false because he chose his girl over her yet you still hold it against him bc women don’t lie right?! Or some unsubstaniated uber claim?? He’ll get paid, rather with Tampa or somewhere else, or he’ll get Cousined with the tag but bottom line he’s worth it but Tampa is an armpit. But to say he’s not a franchise qb is malarkey to say the least.

The least? Strong words. The guy has shown exactly nothing, won exactly nothing, and has a history of behavior issues, both on field and off. Do excuse me for saying the jury is out on whether or not he's a franchise QB. I say no until proven otherwise.

On this team, he would’ve took us to the playoffs.

I agree... just the escapability and the staying on the field all season would have made a difference with us.

Rather or not Winston is "A" franchise QB,..he definitely is "Their" Franchise QB

would be funny as hell to see Tampa trade the rights to Winston over to the Skins for the rights to Cousins....that would pop some pundit heads right there.

He didn't stay on the field. Winston tried to play through an elbow injury, but they finally had to shut him down for several games.
