Chances are if Jason Licht doesn't want him, neither does Steve Keim. Keim is an NC State alum, so he knows Glennon about as well as any GM.

That said, I thought Glennon played better than expected last season. His play at Seattle was very good, for example.

Is it Licht or Lovie?

Jeff Tedford is the one that doesn't like him from the reports I've seen. At the right price, I think the Cardinals would be interested. He checks all the boxes, tall, strong arm, football intelligence, good character. Greg Schiano was very complimentary of him on NFL Total Access last night.

A scenario I could foresee is:
the QB the Bucs like is on the board at 20, the Cardinals send their #20 overall selection to Tampa Bay for Mike Glennon and the Bucs second round draft pick (#38 overall).

It looks like fair compensation per the "draft pick chart" but I would want more from the Bucs.

That scenario would be worth a low 2nd rounder (320 points) on the trade value chart. I still think that's high. I'd be up for it if we could get him for a 4th. That said, if BASK decides it's worth it, I'm in. Those guys have a bit more experience evaluating and developing QB's then I currently possess.http://www.arizonasportsfans.com/vb/images/icons/icon12.gif

The trade value chart was a function of cost, not talent and died with the last CBA. You get what you can get.

Still think giving anything, even a 6th round pick, for Glennon would be a waste of resources.

If the Cards get a QB out of this college class I wouldn't be surprised if it is Logan Thomas from Virginia Tech.
