And there's the ball game folks
It's only the 7th inning. In the words of Tug McGraw of the Miracle Mets (and the father of Tim McGraw), "Ya gotta believe." :)

Sherfy, just up, is now pitching.

Amazing. I knew exactly what was going to happen before his first pitch. Called base hit and bam, first pitch. Horrible managing on TL's part there. Should have stuck with hirano.

Chafin blows. I would rather have seen Hirano in the entire inning.

C’mon Sherfy, don’t let me down!

And a long sacrifice fly. 4-2 Milwaukee. And the runner from 2B is now on 3B. Two outs.

Ah, our best hitting Catcher, Murphy, with a base hit. Owings pinch hitting.

This guy Hader is murder vs. lefty hitters. He was 16 strikeouts out of 23 outs. He got both Peralta and Descalso (left handed hitters) to end the inning.

At least I know I can solely focus on football in October, since the DBacks won’t be in the playoffs.

It was nice winning while having 5 in the lineup near the Mendoza line. For all of you that said the batting average doesn't matter, well, I still say that is true in the short run, but in the long run it will catch up with you, and it has. It has caught up with us.

Goldy 4 of 48 in May, Major slump.
Goldy has 12 RBI's in 40 games this season. It is past the point of pretending that it is a "slump".

Problems don't get solved (if they can be) without first admitting that there is a serious problem.

Inside the park HR and it's now 7-2. 'Hope Pollock didn't injure his left wrist on the diving attempt. He has come out of the game with the trainer.

Having our new Manager become Manager of the Year in his first season has become a jinx for the D-backs. This is the third time.

I'm not saying that it's Torey's fault, with all the injuries. But it's a jinx.
