Porter is being listed as #8 on nbadraft.net. Cleveland has #8 pick and that might be worth exploring. If/when LeBron leaves they will be in rebuild and cerrtainly could young players/picks.

What about...#16, #31, Mil pick, next years suns pick, choice of Chriss or Bender. For #8 pick?

It's about what it would take to get the deal done. I guess it would depend if Porter or someone else the Suns like is there providing the Suns want to do the trade.

Maybe he has a promise.
The talent potential is enticing, but I don't know... the more I hear about this guy the more I think he's a primadonna who thinks he's better than he is.

It also had the #1 and #2 picking teams in the draft. Odd that he would cancel a workout with the at least small potential that he could play himself into the very top of the draft.

Or a sore back!

Drafting Porter is a gamble, no doubt about it. Back issues tend to always be there. I do not know anything about his personality.

Hmm, could be great if porter slips. What if he slips to 10, suns could flip 16/10 with philly and agree to take bayless contract.

Not a high price in order to roll the dice on adding a second big talent from the draft.

Suns can afford to gamble on porter, because he would be their second pick.

Teams like the knicks/cavs/bulls might be nervous since that is there only shot at adding a player from this draft.

If a Rosen-type situation presents itself, Porter would be a great gamble. Oddly enough, even with this news, his value seems to be trending up. Of course, it's all rampant speculation and the tide could easily turn as this information is considered more and time passes.

So we are working on Porter and Doncic sliding. Maybe we can get Young to slide as well.

Being more serious, it would be nice to nab one of these players. Some teams need to make unexpected picks so the Suns are in range to move up from #16.

Except Memphis doesn't have the 3rd pick, Atlanta does.

Hah that is what I get for going off the cuff so 3rd maybe JJJ?

I have already read a ton about Memphis loving Porter. It's the right range for him to cancel his workouts.

I wish Doncic had workouts to cancel.

I'd be really surprised if philly did that. They don't need to move salary to sign Lebron, right? And if that's the case, I can't see why they wouldn't go big with the 10th pick and swing for the fences with Porter who can play the 3 or 4. If their eventual front line is Porter/Simmons/Embiid... that's pretty ridiculous size, strength and speed in your front court with all those guys being multiple tool players.

Philly does need to clear about $10 million but they should be able to easily. Either moving Bayless or Robert Covington would get it done. They don't want to move Covington but if they get Lebron, they don't need him. They would need to know before the draft that they could sign Lebron though. They may give up on Bayless anyways but losing 6 spots in the draft to strike out on Lebron would make them look really bad. They don't have a GM right now though, which could mean they do something stupid but I think the chances they do nothing at all are more likely.

If lebron will only take full max of 35-36 million, which he said in past, they will need to clear some salary.

Luka doesn’t get past Dallas. Porter Chicago.

Mikal Bridges is a perfect fit for Philly’s roster and he played at Nova. That might be the biggest no-brainer after the Suns/Ayton.

Gambo said very good chance knox to chicago, they may like him more than porter. Others are now following suit (the ringer mock) with knox to chicago.

Shai is getting very close to where the Suns could move up from #16 to get him.
