It actually seems realistic. I am not all convinced about signing Aaron Gordon though. Maybe if we could sign and trade deal with Chriss for Gordon or something. Favors is interesting if we could get him.

If the Suns got Young, I would suggest going heavy on 3-and-D types across the board. Anyone we add should be defense first and should not require the ball in their hands very often. The good news is that these types tend to be less expensive and you can find surprises more often. I wouldn't overpay for Gordon. Favors would be great at the right price.

PG would be a nice fit. But its hard to beat what Bender should be for that spot.

I like the idea of Mbah a Moute, who will be a free agent. If Houston hopes to be a player in FA for free agency they will renounce his rights. Even without Lebron, they'll need to resign Capella and Chris Paul which would put them over the cap and unlikely to offer him a large contract. We should be able to sign him outright. There are a lot of better options than Aaron Gordon out there, when you factor in salary also. Favors and Mbah a Moute are both cheaper PF options for us. Gordon will need the max to make Orlando consider not matching, even then it isn't a sure thing.

He really is perfect in theory. Of course, it's almost entirely theoretical at this point.

Who are you guys talking about, PG? I thought Aaron Gordon at fight but that doesn't match up. I don't think Paul George is realistic either, especially playing him at PF.

And I think there is a fair chance it happens but Young would have to slide a bit. This draft is loaded at the top.

Young is probably the backup if Doncic doesn't fall.

I still think Warren + picks is the trade. They are working out very specific people so the framework for a deal is probably already in place for someone in the top 8

Interesting point about a deal being in place. This could well be the case if the draft falls the right way. Let's hope it doesn't end up like the trade for Curry that feel through.

But the guys they are working out are all bigs. And I’m not certain they’re complimentary of one and other.

Right but now comes Young. It's clear they want a C and a PG in this draft so they are working out the guys at 1 and then the guys at the bottom

Pfft...Evidence I have been saying for weeks

and it was part of my first post on this forum

but here's my take on it now
phx will try, but no one will bite
teams will get excited about their candidates each day closer to the draft
the more we want them, the more they do (the Curry conundrum)

It will be hard to get a team to bite on a trade at the very top of the draft but at some point a team will bite on a good trade offer... a team building for the future. The question becomes, will a player be there the Suns want at a slightly lower spot. If the Suns really like a player, Warren and 2-3 first round picks might get it done. I think a player has to slide a bit.

Yes I’d agree with this forecast.

So is Michael Porter Jr. a trade up possibility.

If it hasn't already been mentioned Trae Young will probably not work out for the Suns.

sounds like it.
that back doe.

If the Suns do not draft Michael Porter Jr. too early it might be worth the risk. This is where the medical professionals earn their pay.

Yes. If it is not too early, I totally agree it is worth the risk.

On the solar panel podcast they had one of the bloggers for the Kings on a guest. He said the Kings are in love with Porter Jr and that the fan base is scared as hell they'll draft him at 2 lol. So kings of them

Nobody will be laughing if he turns out to be the star of the draft. Who knows with this group? I could see any one of them distancing themselves from the pack in time.

Porter is being listed as #8 on nbadraft.net. Cleveland has #8 pick and that might be worth exploring. If/when LeBron leaves they will be in rebuild and cerrtainly could young players/picks.

What about...#16, #31, Mil pick, next years suns pick, choice of Chriss or Bender. For #8 pick?
