.@dpshow says that a scout told him that he believes Kyler Murray's height was "inflated" at the combine.

"If he refuses to measure at the Pro Day, it would be telling."

If he is truly that height, why wouldn't he quiet the doubters? I totally understand if somebody runs a great 40, but doesn't at their workout because they could run slower. Is he afraid he might slouch? This kid is about as transparent as a wall.

Murray has to be the most polarizing potential draft pick this board has ever seen. And the drama about everything surrounding him makes for an entertaining circus. My predictions:

- If we draft him over half the board melts down, ten percent say they are no longer cards fans

- If we don’t draft him and he becomes fantastic and Rosen is just okay or even pretty good there will forever he debate on this board regardless of who we take instead of Murray.

- If we don’t draft him and he’s fantastic and Rosen sucks the board will never hear the end of it from Murray proponents. Never. I’m not sure we will have ever experienced anything quite like that.

Can confirm. I'd be in this contingent.

Shades of Lamar Jackson. What is he hiding *or* is he getting bad advice from his agent?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember Jackson hiding anything. He didn't run because he wanted scout to believe he was a passer and not just a runner. I don't have a problem with either of them skipping the 40, because I wouldn't raise or lower their grade if they ran a 4.3 or 4.4. They both have proven to have elite speed for the position.

Absolutely. But this off season is so polarising that Kiem is going to get blasted no matter what he decides to do.

This is why we should have moved on from him. He put himself in this situation. He is either jumping off of the QB that he moved up for last year or is creating this drama by not shooting down the rumors. He's at the bottom of the whole by himself with the shovel in hand.

No doubt. But if Kiem makes all ( most) the right moves he could erase the demons and be looked at as a very good gm.

How could his combine height be inflated? If true, then he could easily inflate his pro day height as well.

That sucks.

After last night’s blockbuster night in the NFL, many eyes turn today to #Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray’s Pro Day. While the school originally planned for him to run the 40, he may just throw today. Will still be must-see TV.
I watched the first part, he just weighed in, down to 205 lbs from 207. They said he will not run the 40 yd dash, he will just throw. We've seen the tape of him run, in pads even so it's well known he's fast. When they come back from commercial he's gonna throw. KK is not there lol, only reps from all 32 teams they said.

Good question but Michael Lombardi in GMF Said the combine Height and Pro Day Height usually don’t match... Which makes no sense to me… Anyone got any statistics that prove this?

I have no issue with not being measured...the 40 bothers me. Don't tell me that your athleticism is the reason we should ignore your lack of size and then refuse to run. Buyer beware especially in year 2 after the league gets film on him.

Steve Keim and Kliff Kingsbury may not be in attendance, but the Cardinals do have representatives in Norman today for Kyler Murray's Pro Day and to check out other OU players.
Cardinals had people up in Stillwater yesterday. Luckily they could drive down to Norman in little over an hour. Wind is gusting up to 65 mph here today, no way would I want to fly in here today....

Agree about the running. Still think he should've measured just to dispel the rumors about his inflated height. If you're being weighed, just do the height, even if it's to shut people up.

Put it in perspective: Mayfield did all of the drills at OU's pro day because there were a number of question marks.

Murray's question marks have become red flags at this point. He's hiding something; likely his inability to run fast at 200+ pounds.

So all scouts will get is a new weigh in and a scripted throwing session to WRs he is familiar with. I am sure that will be super valuable.

Michael Bidwills plane is in Scottsdale right now, not Oklahoma. The coach and GM may be there but the owner isn't, whether that means anything or not
saw on twitter that Mike, KK and Keim will not be attending.

He’s 100% hiding it. He isn’t naturally carrying 205 he should be 185-190 and they know his speed and quickness will be effected.

if Murray has nothing to hide then why won`t he be measured? Afraid the real truth will show? Now he doesn`t run because of the extra 15 LBs he put on...…..Whats next? he can`t throw because his arm is sore or its Wednesday?

Throwing is the easiest thing for him, scripted, a set amount of passes and to WRs he has been practicing with for a while.

Mayfield had questions last year and he did everything asked of him. Murray should have reached out to him for guidance.
