I am more intrigued with the #33 pick to be honest, but we do live in the age of "hot takes".

Move over in that boat Ron, because I like Rosen too (matter of fact I still like him a lot) but after the measurements I am starting to be very intrigued by the mighty midget

Do you even Orange Bowl bro? If you think Murray is going to run the ball 15 to 20 times a game in NFL, and even if we did that he would be as effective in college let alone make it thru the season I've got a bridge for sale.

Dude looks at his first read and takes off running when playing against a capable defense. I'm all for Wilsonesque scrambling ability to make something out of nothing but that should be the gravy not the meat and potatoes. Murray is a great college QB. The type of play that made him great in college will not make him great in the NFL.

All we proved last year is Rosen is durable. I still don't think Rosen is going to be great, heck I have doubts he can even be avg. But we did have a cluster F last year and it's hard to really know for sure if Rosen is that bad but sure as hell ain't wasting a #1 overall on Murray. People acting like he is the second coming of Brady without ever playing NFL scheme.

In two or three years, people will be talking about Rosen as one of the best. Dude is 21 and uber-talented. Last year was a cluster F and means nothing.

Exactly. He was on fire during our home Seattle game and we had no doubt he was going to lead us all the way down the field for a winning TD or FG, until the coaching staff shut him down, ran the ball up the middle three consecutive plays, and attempted a long range Phil Dawson FG which was missed. Stupid home loss and even more ridiculous was our then head coach saying he'd do the same thing over again if given the choice.

Our line sucked last year with guys out and playing injured, etc, but with good coaching you can run plays designed to get the ball out quick and still be productive. Our staff last year was tied to McCoy's playbook of unexciting bland football that got us nowhere and kept Josh under pressure or worse much of the time.

They really should have worked around Josh's strengths and designed some plays to get the ball out quicker.

I am starting to believe Murray is done deal for Cardinals. Every week the reports seem to be stronger indicating this.

The information that made it more clear is based on what Steve Wyche said on Fox Sports 910 yesterday. Steve said for a fact he knows Rosen was not told by Cardinals he is their guy. His logical reasoning was if Murray talk is all a smoke screen would the Cardinals let their franchise QB Rosen twist in the wind like this for a month?

That made it more certain that it is very likely Murray is the pick than not. I chided Murray fans with the below gifs when Murray refused to measure at his pro day. I still believe Rosen should stay and Bosa drafted, so these gifs applies to me now

When you blame everything Rosen did wrong on those around him..... Where do you think that belongs on the accountability ladder?

It's virtually impossible for a rookie QB to shine in the NFL when drafted very early, meaning he is going to a bad team.
It takes at least two years, unless the roster around them is set to shine already. Blaming Rosen for the offensive woes last year is utterly absurd.

As to it looking like a done deal for Murray, recognize that none (NONE) of that information is coming from the Cardinals. It's all just sportswriters guesses and circle jerk quoting
each other.

I saw very little last year to conclude this. A few throws here, a few throws there.

'People have said a lot of things, that are misconceptions,” Kingsbury told reporters in Phoenix, when asked about a potential Rosen trade. “I always thought watching him at UCLA that he played his best football in a spread system, which has some similarities to what we do,” Kingsbury said. “He’s a tremendous thinker. He’s very cerebral and can throw it with anybody. We take a lot of pride in building a system around the quarterback, so for someone to say that he doesn’t fit our system just doesn’t make sense.”
