Cardinal ownership are not historically high rollers. They're in a new league here and may not be comfortable playing the game.

That's possibly the reason for your gut skepticism.

They got comfortable with the Fitz deal, which dwarfs anything contemplated at this point.

Irrelevant. "He's not going to their facilities, and simply meeting with head coaches."

He's doing his due diligence; he's NEVER been a free agent.

No need to get angry or excited until something actuallyhappens.

That's good to know I feel like we still have a shot.

Here is a possibility (While WHiz, Grimm and Peyton in the SUV on the way to dinner):

Manning "Hey Ken..I think I am going to join your te" interrupted by Grimm

Grimm "Shut up Peyton!!!!!! Hey Ken turn up the radio..it's Bruce!"

:biglaugh:

That's awesome!

I have not seen anyone comment about one situation in Denver - the altitude. How does that affect things? I know that when I go to Flagstaff, I feel like I've aged ten years.

Manning didn't throw for Denver and took plenty of time throwing to Fitz and Roberts....shows he was very interested

I was at the training facility most of the day yesterday and spoke to Jurecki, Foughy and Sainez they all said he did not throw for the Cards. In fact what I was told is he did not even want to talk contract or money at all. The word was that this was about him checking US out. So before you get yourself to worked up just because Fitz and Roberts were there it does not mean he threw to them. In fact where did you hear he threw to them?

Stokley says he caught passes from Manning in Denver. Why wouldn't he have thrown to Fitz and Roberts in AZ?

If he lets Kolb's deadline come and go, then the jig is up for AZ, but until then, I think we're still very much in the hunt.
WINNER! :)

I am certain the Cardinals brass told Peyton they need a decision prior to a $7 million bonus to Kolb coming due. That is the only deadline of any consequence in this matter for the Cardinals.

Well I would say throwing passes with a friend with no one from the Broncos there to study it is much different than throwing for a team.

And like I said, I have not read or heard that he threw for any team yet. So I guess it is quiet possible that he and Fitz tossed the ball around at a park, but it did not happen at the Cards facility.
