#1. Houston will try to trade spots with New Orleans. Successful or not they will draft D'Brickashaw Ferguson. He's the franchise left tackle that they covet. They can't risk trading down any further for fear of Ferguson being gone.

#2. NewOrleans will draft Reggie Bush. He'll help sell tickets when they play in LA. :D

#3. Tennesee jumps on the Matt Leinart wagon.

#4. Jets get Mario Williams

#5. Packers draft Jay Cutler.

#6. 49er's get defensive and take Michael Huff.

#7. Raiders choose AJ Hawk.

#8. Bills select Winston Justice.

#9. Lions hope to find someone that can catch the ball and also block. Vernon Davis is not in the Cards.

#10. The Cards pick is between Broderick Bunkley, Haloti Ngata, Vince Young, Lendale White and Jimmy Williams.

Have fun!

Agreed, Bunkley may be there at 15 or so. Definitely a stretch, especially with Ngata on the board in your mock.

At #10...

In no particular order:

Reggie Bush
Matt Leinart
Vince Young
Vernon Davis
Brick Ferguson
Mario Williams
AJ Hawk
Jimmy Williams
Michael Huff

At least one of these guys will be there at #10, IMO. Most likely picks in bold.

IF it went down anywhere near that, I'd prefer Jimmy Williams or Mario Williams over Bunkley....

There is no way that I would choose Jimmy Williams or Mario or Bunkley, period.

I would want Mario, Ngata, Jimmy Williams, and then Bunkley, in that order.

#5. Packers surprise everyone and continue the run on QB's. They go Young, Vince Young and Favre either retires or tries to end his career in Louisiana.

#6. 49er's get defensive and take Michael Huff.

#7. Raiders choose AJ Hawk.

#8. Bills select Winston Justice.

#9. Lions hope to find someone that can catch the ball and also block. Vernon Davis is not in the Cards.

#10. With the Cards seeing their biggest hopes off the board they try to shore up the defensive line. The pick is Broderick Bunkley.

Have fun!
Thats Bunk!

No, I think that I just misread his post, and I am man enough to leave it there, rather than editing it...... :biglaugh:

While I do think your Top 9 is flawed (Mario has no chance dropping that far), I agree with you and think Bunkley would be very good pick for us if none of the big names drop to us (Even if Young was there, I'd be less inclined to take him anyway). You can never have too many good D-linemen (see: Patriots) and you guys are really underrating him as a prospect.

I don't think they are completely sold on who they have now and with Favre threating to leave if they don't bring in help, I think it makes Young look even better to them. They are in a complete rebuild mode and keeping Favre isn't going to help them at all.

Just about every year someone that couldn't possibly drop does. If the Cards lose Davis to free agency, I think they'll feel the need to get another DT early in the draft. Of course that is if none of their blue chippers drop to them. They could take Mario Williams if he drops to them, but I think they feel good about the DE positions.

Mario Williams has as much chance falling to 10 as the Patriots releasing Tom Brady. I don't see the Jets taking Cutler since they just traded for a guy who is very similar in style and ability to him in Ramsey.

I revised it with Mario Williams.

I'd still take Bunkley if the Cards don't find another quaity FA DT to back up Clancy.
