This type of play was nothing. It's the NBA Finals. The league is getting really, really soft if we're calling for suspensions and/or flagrant fouls for these type of plays.

The thing is, Green gets away with it all the time. When are they going to call it?

Apparently the NBA is going far out of the way to avoid suspending him. This is giving a message to other players they can do the same thing. It's just a matter of time before a player reacts to this type of play. Then they will probably suspend the player that retaliates while Green goes on his merry way.

Again, what exactly did he do here that seems to have caused you to flip out??

He got a T in the OKC series for the kick to Adams although he didn't miss any games.

I guess my issue here is Green took a shot at the basket. He didn't elbow Smith after the shot he did it on the way up. He was looking at teh rim the whole way you can see it on replay. There's no way IMO that he intentionally hit Smith he was simply going left trying to initiate contact to get an and 1 which is a normal basketball play. Anybody that has seen Green play knows he has a chicken wing elbow when he shoots, it's always out that's why he has side spin on his shot.

So that's his normal shooting motion.

Carmelo and Kobe both mastered the art of keeping two hands on the ball and still using their off elbow to clear space, sometimes they used both elbows. One time in a hundred they get called for it. Green is emulating the masters...

This is what set up the Raja Bell incident with Kobe.

And LeBron uses the ball to push the defender back. It's damn near impossible to stop if you swipe at the ball they call it a foul, if you don't he's so strong he just moves you back a foot. That's sort of what he was doing when he hit Iggy in th egoods in game 2. Honestly I thought that was a terrible call, totally inadvertent, but he was in fact trying to move him. Iggy has gotten really good at pulling the chair on LeBron when he does that and then the ball is exposed so he can slap it away often without the foul call.

It seems to me that LeBron no longer has an outside shot. Most of his points are slam dunks using his superior strength in the paint. There doesn't seem to be anyone really hitting outside shots consistently for the Cavs.

To be fair, did LeBron ever really have much of a consistent outside shot?

He's had a season ending injury pretty much every other year in his career. You can be the best player in the world if your sitting on the sidelines in a suit it doesn't matter.

How many all NBA teams this guy made? All-Star games? Guys who tear there body up at this rate this early in there career generally don't all of a sudden have long healthy careers.

The Suns are no where near the cap ceiling, so again, unless your personal money goes directly into EB's bank account, what's the big deal?

If you want to keep the smallest chance of landing impact free agents, you keep guys like Bledsoe on the team. Because of the reasons you listed regarding injuries, his trade value is not very high at the moment, and his talent and potential for further development makes it more logical that he remains on the roster.

Heck, I read somewhere that the cap floor will be over $90 million when the new deal kicks in a year from now.

Hum hum, small ball with defence. Imagine that.

BronBron needs shooting lessons. 36% outside the paint? Ouch.

Warriors: switched on 43% of pick-and-rolls faced in #NBAFinals, something DET, ATL & TOR did 19% of the time against Cavs in 1st 3 rounds

I'm surprised it's not higher than that it seems like other than LeBron they switch everything and they even switch with him pretty regularly.

It's the exact reason Cleveland has 12 made 3's in 2 games after raining 3's in the East series, the Warriors switch everything and take away the 3.

I expect LeBron to attack the rim with a vengeance tomorrow night and try to get to the line.

I wonder if the Vegas odds actually got better for Cleveland without Love in the lineup. I think he plays better with Lebron than Kyrie does but with all 3 of them together their offense isn't very fluid or free flowing. Definitely not enough to compete with a team like the Warriors who are super quick in transition and one of the better perimeter defensive teams in the league.

I wonder if they'll start things smaller with either Shumpert, Dellavedova, or Jefferson or if they'll go with Frye or Mosgov to replace him in the starting 5. Frye would be my choice, leave him beyond the arc waiting for kick-outs from Kyrie or Lebron. No one on the Warriors has the size and length to disrupt his shot much. Even though both games have been blowouts Cleveland isn't using their bench much, at all. They haven't been that effective but they haven't been given much time either. Only 3 players played more than 10 minutes off of the bench in game 1 and just 4 playing over 10 minutes in game 2.

All things considered to only be down 8 is good.

I'm not sure what it is with those screens on Curry, he clearly thinks they're moving and he's grabbing the defender to make it more obvious to the ref but he nearly got a foul doing it against Lebron and then he did get a foul for doing it against Frye. So far in this series it's only a moving screen if you're Bogut or Mozgov, everyone else on both teams gets away with it so stop grabbing the screener Steph.

2-14 from 3, 3-8 from the FT line it's a miracle they're only down 8.

Say this lead holds and Love is cleared for Game 4. Do you bench his ass... Like permanently for the series?

LeBron finally showed up in the 3rd.

Lebron couldn't make a jumper until tonight. Curry just looks like he was out of it tonight. He thought he got fouled on his first shot and didn't get the call and then those 2 quick fouls he got he just seemed to be in a funk.

Great defense on him too

He's a good player but he doesn't match up well with the Warriors so I would strongly consider not starting him in game 4 if he's cleared.

Wow what a response by Cleveland when you thought the Warriors might come right back they blow the lead wide open again.

9-20 from 3 to 7-26 for the Warriors 38-23 in rebounds.

Not that it matters but kerr's use of Speights and Barbosa continues to baffle me. They were both in during the big first half run, Speights stretches the floor and Barbosa is a born scorer. So 2 minutes from Speights and 5 for Barbosa all in the first half

NBA is tough.

At least they did call the T on him after reviewing. They missed the shot he took at Speights late in the first half.
