Klay hit him in the head before that. Man Thompson has gone from the 2nd greatest shooter ever to Golden St's worst starter in one week.

Yes but when I wrote that they hadn't called the T on Frye. They ultimately did.

Thompson will shake it off he's not going off the dribble enough they're overplaying his 3 pointer so much.

Say this lead holds and Love is cleared for Game 4. Do you bench his ass... Like permanently for the series?

LeBron finally showed up in the 3rd.

No, but I consider bringing him off the bench as a 6th man.

Definitely start RJ over Love. Even at 35, RJ plays better defense and brings more energy. Love would help the Cavs better coming off the bench.

If the Cavs don't come back and win it all Love is gone.

He might get traded if they do win it all depending on his roll the rest of the way.

For a historically great team the Warriors have been embarrassed quite often. They remind me of the 08' Celtics who lost 10 playoff games en route to a title.

Home cooking, and James, Irving, and smith all going off in the same game whatever... GS wins Friday and ends it Monday at home like they want to.

I don't think they've won a game 3 all playoffs have they?

They just seem to have had one or two of these every series.

I wouldn't say home cooking but can we now hear all the complaints about dirty play by Cleveland? Mozgov got called for sticking his leg out on the screen twice in the 4th quarter of game 2 and then did it again tonight and hurt Klay. Frye hit Speights right before the half and then hit Klay in the 2nd half.

It's not just Green that does this stuff.

To clarify home cooking meaning Cleveland was allowed to play very physical. I mean there was one of many plays where two guys hacking at Currys arms probably 4 fouls one he one play then the ball goes off the defenders leg OB result Cleveland ball I was just like wtf seriously? The played Curry super physical and knocked him around and rarely got foul called, very reminiscent of Suns Spurs series that were just poorly officiated.

4th quarter, 8:28, 73 and 95, Lebron drives on Green. Lebron dunks it, foul on Green.

Does the reverse angle show Green trying to reach and squeeze for Lebron's junk?

That's where I mentioned earlier Steph reacting to the screens. he got tied up wtih Thompson on a moving screen and grabbed him and they called the foul on Steph. That seemed to really bother him. He did it again with Frye and Frye was playing so physical that Steph grabbed him to keep from going to the floor and they called the foul on Steph. Then he got tied up with LeBron and finally later in the game again and LeBron basically picked him up and put him on the floor and then actually argued the foul saying Steph had hooked him. Curry thinks those screens are illegal(they are) and he's trying to make sure the ref sees it, instead of just playing.

When they do that to Iggy he flops, they either call the foul and he wins, or he decides ok they're not calling that and just plays. That's what Steph needs to do, teh whole point of those screens is to wear Steph down, they're not really doing it for offense IMO they're doing it to physically beat up Steph. He has to stop playing into it.

Just to be clear i think that is true in THIS series but not over the course of the season. jefferson matches up better with Cleveland playing small against the Warriors.

He's played really well in this series, much better than Frye has who was so big in the prior few series. Iggy has been great for the Warriors so 2 UA SF's playing really well.

Yep he's got to play better.
If lbj was playing as bad as steph is playing...the media would be ripping him apart.

Lebron would get it the worst, but it's not just him. Guys like KD, Harden and Westbrook would be heavily criticized for playing this way in the Finals. Curry has had a few games where he's been trash and hasn't really been ripped for it.

The fact that his team is still up 2-1 probably has something to do with it. If they were down, you can bet Curry would be in the crosshairs.

True but who has ever suggested Steph is a LeBron type all time player? LeBron is like top 5 all time. Steph is a great player, quite likely a HOF player but I don't think anybody thinks he's a top 5 or even top 10 alltime player right now his peak is really about 3 years right now after all the ankle injuries.

The thing is the reason the warriors are up 2-1 is largely due to Cleveland being so concerned with stopping Steph Curry that the rest of the team was wide open the first 2 games. they did a better job of closing that off last night but the reality is even when he doesn't get 30 points, Steph impacts the game greatly because of how much defensive attention he draws.

he needs to drive more so does Klay, they have to punish Cleveland for all the overplays.

This... as further testament to this, his team continues to win (winning BIG), while he plays like crap... Any team LBJ is on needs to him to be a large contributor, or else... Even in Miami, there was no room for LBJ to have so many off nights as Steph has had.
Steph is a very, very good player. A GREAT shooter - one of the alltime best. But he isn't anywhere close to guys like LBJ, MJ, Magic, Bird, etc...

Like the last series where they got down 3-1 and everyone started the Steph isn't really hurt he's overrated and the Warriors are being exposed by OKC talk. then they won 3 straight and people forgot.

He's not playing well but the way they defend him it's not a surprise. the guy who's really hurting the Warriors IMO is Thompson, they worry about him sure but they don't throw 2-3 guys at him and face guard him 70 feet away like they were doing with Curry last night. He had a bunch of open shots in the first quarter he missed, including missing a layup and then missing the 2 ft's on the foul on it. Very bad game for him.

Also, the parade of 3's in game 2 by Green might be a bad thing he was too quick to take them last night even when not wide open.

Sure but they're different. LeBron has been in 6 straight finals the last 2 on teams he basically took by himself, he took the Cavs there before by himself(and got swept).

Steph is a great player but he's not going to carry the Warriors to a title by himself, they have steadily improved due to great drafting and signing of key players by the front office and then good coaching decisions(can Mark Jackson).

Steph is great but you can't put Steph with 4 stiffs and win 55 games, you can with LeBron James.

No you can't but that doesn't diminish Steph's greatness, that's more a difference in build and style. I love all the judging of Steph here as if this proves something about him but this isn't the guy that dominated this season. He hasn't been quite the same since his two injuries, especially since his 3 week absence. But that's okay, even at less than his best, Cleveland has to spend a lot of effort keeping him in check and in the end, that's all that will matter.
