The comparison was between Channing and Amare, not Marion. I referred to him only to make a point, but you can draw your ridiculous conclusion as always without reading, typical.

your point was ridiculous, as many have pointed out.

Mind you the freakish athleticism in Amare is at least halved, if not by age definitely by surgery

as is this one.

Who gives a crap about "many"? Waste of productive time. We can save each other the hassles by agreeing to disagree.

Which play was that? The only Father Time block I remember was Rasheed Wallace's geometry defying stuff of Pau Gasol's hook shot.

Uhm, when he bobbled his wide open dunk, then bobbled it again immediately after. Soon after he threw it out of bounds.

Surely you didn't forget that; it was the most amazing display of over-the-hill I've ever seen.

And people on this board take Amare's hands for granted. Think of Nash-KG pairing up and the latter fumbles all the highlight weel passes. ;)

Ah, I saw that embarrassing snafu. I thought you meant an old player blocked him. Well, an old player did block him(self).

i agree with this, but offensively, dude shrivels in the clutch. always has, always will.

Yes but when I watch the Celtics play, I wouldn't be looking for KG in the clutch anyway. I would be looking at Pierce and Allan. That's how it was the year they won the title.

Bringing KG was about bringing in one of the best defensive players in the league not about him being clutch. There are very few players in this league I would call clutch. That would be an interesting thread discussion though.

Do it. Or we could start a thread about players who are anti-clutch....and i could catch a ton of crap about putting JRich on the list.
He did have a nice post-season so i'll digress for now. :)

KG is the prime example of why you don't give someone the max contract: They won't be able to earn it the last couple years of that contract. Right? ;)

Every time Rondo goes off like this I feel sick to my stomach. I read that it the Suns brain tut liked Rondo and wanted to keep him but Dantoni vetoed.

1. Clown D'Antoni said he would not play him because of his shooting woes.

2. Sarver wasn't going to pay a guaranteed contract to a guy his coach supposedly refused to play.

All around disaster, but yeah, D'Antoni was the biggest reason behind the vetoed trade. The guy can't/won't develop youth.

Woohoo. Home court now with the Celts. They need to take care of home court and the series is in their control.

Not to mention D'Antoni held the title of GM at the time of the 2006 draft.
