This used to be a fun board and I always enjoyed reading all the different opinions and ideas put on here by some very knowledgeable fans, but the negativity is now rampant and every thread is the same old tired bitching and complaining.

I find myself spending less and less time on here. How many times can you say the team sucks, the coaches suck, the owners suck, the players suck without boring everyone else to tears?

This team has some major problems right now, but I see no reason to amplify them by condemning everything and everyone. I don't mind constructive critisizm, but this hating on individual players/coaches is not constructive. Can we discuss this problem logically without the nasty personal insults?

As a fan, the only vote you have in the running of the team is with your sports dollars. Use them wisely.

You should probably start with once, and then go from there.

LOL

41-7 and 41-10. And you see no reason for the fans to be extremely upset?

40 try adding something to the conversation. If someone says Wilson sucks and you don't think so say why instead of simply crying about all the negativity.

This board (like almost every sports message board) has always been about pissing and moaning.

Maybe its just harder to stomach after 2 whoopins in 3 weeks?

Hey 40! I haven't seen you (in person) in years. Keep the faith brother. It could be worse. Well, actually it couldn't, because we just plain blow. But other than that, it could be worse?

What would you expect us to say, given the way the team has played? It's horribad. Do you really think by our complaining we're "amplifying" their stress? Furthermore, how do you propose we "logically" criticize their play without criticizing the players, coaches, schemes? There's no other way to objectify it other than to say we suck right now and find out why. Back in the SDS days we often settled for poor play, because it's what we're used to, but there's nothing wrong with expecting more.

I think some people confuse negativity with discussing reality. When your team gets blown out there isn't much to be happy about. I challenge anyone to point out the positives about Derek Anderson, the defense, and Beanie Wells telling the media "I'm not really worried about the quarterback situation. I'm worried about my situation." If there is a positive angle I would like to know what it is. And if there is a problem, I want to know the cause and the solution. I don't think that is unreasonable.

I get a little confused at posts of this nature.

This is where passionate fans , which we all are, come to laugh , cry, praise and bemoan.
Sorry, but sometimes, "ah shucks darn", doesn't quite get the point or your feeling across.
I can see your point about personal attacks on players and coaches, but let's face it...the higher the highs, the lower the lows. We put these players teams and coaches on such a pedestal when they succeed so when they fail they fall a little further.

SInce we've experienced some success, failure is a bit harder to swallow. The real hard part to accept is what we, the fans, seem to be so obvious such as our qb situation. I, for one, fully accepted the decision to go with DA. After 3 games I had already seen enough.

If Derek Anderson goes on to have a stellar career, I will be the first to admit I was wrong. But I've seen enough Josh McCowns, Dave Browns, Kurt Grahams, Jeff Blakes, Shaun Kings, John Navarres and Brian St Pierres to where I don't want to wait and see if DA blossoms into a top flight QB.

So whether it can be considered personal or not, I've seen enough to say in my opinion...he STINKS. See, it let's you know how i really feel rather than saying, gee, shucks, darn, he isn't playing very well.

Yes. Thankfully this isn't college football where for the top Division I teams the season ends with their 2nd loss.

Sometimes maybe it gets voiced in a way that may seem harsh but jeezus man, as you know Card fans have suffered for decades and we finally had a taste of success the last couple of years.

There is no reason to lie down now when some level of professionalism by FO, coaches and players seemed to have evaporated. The fans of this team...ie us, have paid hard cash to watch unending crap for like, ever. There is no reason to tolerate it anymore...lifes too short to root for losers forever. They need to hear our level of dissatisfaction and get this thing on the upward path again.

If that's negativity, then so be it.

Can you imagine the HORROR if we played in a BCS system were margin of victory was remotely important? We would be getting killed way worse.

This team was in the Super Bowl two years ago, is a two time division champion, and it sure as heck looks like all of the accomplishments, accolades and respect this team has fought for over the past two seasons are going to vanish this year. The best team in the division right now is the Rams. The same Rams who have a 6-42 record over the past 3 years. The same Rams that went 1-15 last year that have a rookie QB this year.

This was Arizona's division to take for the third straight year. The only problem is nobody told the players they have to play for it and the coaches have to coach for it. The powers that be botched this offseason and they botched it bad. The defense is atrocious, the Oline is just as bad, our best RB sits on the sidelines, there is no good QB, and holes at damn near every position on the field on both sides of the ball.

Over the past 7 games the Cardinals gave up 241 points averaging 34 ppg. The DC is doing a horrible job and the HC for some unknown reason can't bring in an OC to run this offense. Probably for the same reasons Leinart was pushed out of town and why Beanie is riding pine. Our FA acquistions leave a lot to be desired, the drafts have sucked all of which helped one of the best offenses in the NFL become one of the worst.

Worse of all we all spend time, money and effort into following this team and lately we have witnessed a regression to the Same Ol Cards. This team was on the rise and we all tasted success and saw what lay ahead and saw a bright future. That all vanished thanks to egos and horrible, horrible decisions this offseason and set this team back to the point where it's going to take more than two seasons to rebuild. It is frustrating to no end and I'm sorry, but it's real hard to be all rainbows and puppy dogs with the current situation.

I understand where he's coming from, but it just doesn't work in this case. The motto is "don't complain unless you have a suggestion to fix it", which I'm a firm believer in. But our suggestions are completely irrelevant, so it doesn't matter what we think from the Cardinals standpoint.

That's why we have this outlet because it's frustrating to know that no matter how devoted a fan you are, reality says Whiz is not going to call you and ask you what you think he should do.

I think of this board as therapy. Better to vent your frustrations here with empathetic fans, than to be moody and rude to people that could care less about the Cards.

I put this entire debacle squarely on the coaching staff. This is completely clueless. It's inexcusable. There's not that much difference in talent between NFL teams.

This is a good idea and I'm all for it.

Next Sunday, any fan caught spending sports dollars on an "Anderson" jersey should be dragged out of their seat and stoned in the parking lot.

60/40.

The coaches deserve blame, but I've witnessed 2 games now that most of the players refused to play. The players aren't without alot of fault.

30% Wiz
20% Davis
10% rest of staff
40% players

This really rubs salt in our wounds because that shouldn't be the case and worse we were told by the players, the coaches and many on this board that this year's defense would be better than last year's.

Yet they have been humiliated by the two decent teams they've played.

Hey Dockett, How does BirdGAG sound?

That reminds me of my 401K, because all 100% of it is losing.
