I watched 7 to 8 Texas games this year, and I to at the start of the year thought Vince Young would have to change to WR, But after watching the kid all year you could see what kind of leader he was and how he would single handily take over games. He has very good command on his throws and is a very accurate QB. His only weakness that I could see is his throwing motion but because he is 6-5, I no longer think it is that big of a deal. He will have to learn an NFL offense but every QB thats not from USC will have to do the same thing........And one more thing........he was 30-2 in his career and played his best ball in the biggest games
Then you look at Cutler. A kid that has a 11-34 record and has some of the worst footwork I have ever seen from a kid in the top 10. His throwing motion is all over the place. He does have a cannon of an arm but it gets him into trouble because he will throw from his back foot all the time. And there has to be something said for a guy that knows how to win games and has played in a big game. Cutlers best day came in a win against Tennessee during the season. Vandy was 5-0 at one point this season and did not make a bowl game.
But because Cutler looks good in shorts everyone wants to put him in the same class as Young. I just dont get it.
