1) McCown
2) King
3) Navarre
4) Draft one
5) Drew Brees
6) another FA

If Brees keeps playing like he has, Denny will be the 1st in line. I also suspect
that Denny might make a move for FA Michael Bennett. Both moves would be
a significant upgrade of the offense.

I say Brees or Kitna. None of the QB draft prospect impress me all that much.
I also just read an article today out of Minnesota that said Denny is going after Bennet and Hovan this offseason. Hovan has a Killer Instinct I think would mesh well with Berry and Dockett, and is a FA that will not return to Minne.

Brees doesn't have the arm. I'd put Kerry Collins and Aaron Brooks on that list - something tells me one of those guys is gonna eb our QB next year.

I wouldn't mind Brooks either.

I don't want Brooks. Way to inconsistant. He simply can't hold it together for a complete season and I wouldn't have any confidance in him at all in the playoffs.

If Josh doesn't work out, how about Jason White?

Season (8-0):═142-of-223 passing (63.7 percent),═1,838═yards,═20 TDs,═4 INTs

He's 6'3" and 226. Decent mobility, very good arm, great accuracy and a great leader.

His stats would be even better, but, he's sharing the spotlight with AP this year.

Just a thought, no need to flame.

Can you say Josh Hepeul? Could not play in the NFL. Same type player.

Oh no you didn't bucky bird...

If Ken Dorsey can play in the NFL, Jason White sure as heck can!

White is bigger and stronger than Hepeul. Much better arm.

Did you watch the Bears-Niners game last night? Ken Dorsey CAN'T PLAY IN THE NFL - Jason White is a fine college QB - he will be NOTHING on the pro level.

You're blinded by your Okie-homerism on this one Crimson.

The downside on White is his injury history, but you're right, much better arm than heupel had.

i could see kitna here next year.

I'm all for Kitna. He was great last year, and he's still relatively young. Plus, he's getting this entire season to hunger for football and isn't getting dinged up.

He's still under contract, isn't he? We'd have to trade for him.

Brees and Kitna would be my picks. I don't consider either re-treads, because each will be sought after, not like picking up a washed-up veteran.

Collins isn't looking so hot right now, but the main thing is that he's signed for three years, and won't be avilable unless the Raiders actually give Gannon his job back next year (and do we want to trade for him?). Speaking of the Raiders, too bad we haven't seen more of Tuiasospo.

I'd take a chance on Brooks, but if he's inconsistent and complaining about the organization in New Orleans, I don't know how interested he'd be in Arizona, unless he loves Green.

I wouldn't squawk at, in order of my preference:

1) Brooks

2) Kitna

3) Breese

If we are talking vet QB's. Not that excited about Breese, he's had a nice run this season but hasn't been very good in prior years. But, I would take him over McCown.

A "fine college QB"? Are you kidding me? Do I need to remind you that he has a trophy that sets him slightly above the "fine" standard?

How much heart do you think this guy has shown to come back from consecutive ACL tears to perform at the level that he has for the last two years?

I'd be willing to wager that he'll be a first day draft pick.

Perhaps your dislike for the Oklahoma program is jading your thinking here Cheese.
