the insider on the card messageboard posted this and said if you put the new logo and grey facemask on the helmet. add yellow gold where there is copper. and the alternate would be black. he said it would be very similar to one of the final templates he saw . what do you think ?

Actually the white helmet with the copper facemask looks good. The copper in this mock up is probably closer to bronze than copper. I like the bronze.

Those mockups are pretty strong and all would look good with the Cardinal colored helmet.

The reality is that if the "insider" really had insider info, the forum mods will kick him out. I don't believe that the "insider" has the real scoop.

uni update! pantone i saw you posted on the cards messageboard about the color scheme being white ,red, black and yellow and a gray facemask is that really it? interesing everyone thought it was going to be copper or something really different. i like the sound of it i'm sure the yellow is only being used as an accent like the seahawks bright green color which i happen to like. i always liked the green color they use to have and used in the same fashion and thought the new brighter green really stands out nicely with the new blue. i also think it will work well for the cards sporting the yellow the same way. it will really stand out on the cardinal red or black

The green on the Hawks uni just sucks. It doesn't belong and was just thrown in. I hope yellow isn't a major part of our new uni. It doesn't fit.

I second that. I hope if anything they add more black to the uni's. Not as a primary color, but an accent. And get rid of the state flag, it just makes them add blue to their socks and crap.

Red, white and black.

I have to agree on the flag. We know where the hell this team is based.

the green the hawks added was not just thrown in there they always had a green accent color. it's just they brightened it up.and there really is'nt much of it in their uni just a thin stripe in the bottom of the sleeve around the color and in the pant stripe but just enough so you notice it. if the cards placed yellow in the same areas i don't think it would be too overwhelming . if they were to use black in the same areas or amount the seahawks used the dark blue i think that would be perfect and the rest mostly red with of course white too.

i guess adding yellow has to do with the new color of the beak i don't think they will over do it with yellow. dropping the flag would be a good idea like you said we know where the team's from. i think that was a cheap attempt to give the team a so called arizona identity but it is time for a change . now that the whole uniform is changing i think it's safe to say we don't need the state flag on the sleeve. the new uni will represent the arizona just fine

I wouldn't mind adding yellow/gold (what ever it is) to the design if it was used in appropriate amounts. The basic color scheme will still be red, white and black.

I actually like the design 'vini' posted. NOT the color scheme like the all black socks etc. But the basic design of the jersey, with the stuff on the shoulders and the piping down the side. I think that looks cool. I haven't seen that before.

Too bad we are keeping that god awful grey face mask. I wouldn't mind the grey if it was actually incorporated into the uniform somehow. But 'just' having the greay face mask makes it look totally out of place. It may be 'classic' but it's ugly.

i agree completely about adding in the yellow in a thin striping or piping and that most of the the uni being red, white and black in that order. but i do like the grey facemask like you said it's classic and i like adding the new but still having a little old school flavor.

yeah. they should still have red jerseys with white pants at home. but mostly black and a little yellow striping or piping on both the jerseys and pants. throw the new logo logo on the sleeves. same thing but on white jerseys and red pants . maybe an all white option and an alternative black jersey for late season games. no all red uniforms i hate those

The gray facemask has got to go. In the days when they were in the same division with Dallas, NYG, and Philly the gray facemask fit in because all of those teams had a gray facemask and harkened back to the retro days in the league where everyone had gray. Now in a division with Seattle, St Louis and SF, the West coast is a little hipper and that look does not fit in.

If they are determined to keep the white helmet at least consider a black face mask. My choice is still the cardinal helmet with black facemask.

I would not hold my breath waiting for Arizona to use the color Copper in the uniforms. I reach that conclusion based on recent uniform changes in the NFL and the new logo. The new logo does not use copper anywhere in it. NE's helmet color matches the face on the logo. They also made drastic changes in the old football snapping logo to current logo. The Cards did not make as drastic of changes as that. I dont see drastic chnage in colors for that reason.

TB made drastric changes in their colors, including use of pewter because their previous colors were hideous. The Cards have had Cardinal red, white and black as their official colors for a long time. I think yellow is also listed as an official color. In the last few years they added blue to try to woo Arizona voters to vote for a new stadium. I expect the blue to go away too. I dont think Bidwill dislikes the teams primary colors. My prediction will see more use of black in the unforms but red will still be primary color with white helmets. A role model for the subtleness of the change will be the Eagles.

big red i agree with most of what you say however it's beem said by bidwill himself the changes to the uniform are not subtle. the helmet logo was a subtle change. and from the talk on the cards board it's sounds like the uni's are going to be very different.
