Had to leave the game near the end of the 3rd Quarter...I was surprised by one of the most cowardly attacks I had ever experienced.

One one of our Season-Ticket Brothers was spit on by a Raiders fan, when he turned to complain to the stadium ushers, the fan slammed into him from behind and tried to push him over the rail in the North End Zone (section 18 ).

It went downhill from there, one of the old Card Avengers grabbed his back and tried to protect him when another raider fan jumped on him...another Avenger (I think) grabbed him and pulled him when the rent-a-cops showed up.

I can't say I was any good, stunned, the only thing I could think of was to get my girlfriend out of there...smart girl...she was moving out of the area, by the time I turned back to the mess, security had arrived.

I think I understand Skorp's position on this now. It just REALLY pisses me off that any other team can come in to our house and act like that...AND not fear for their ass...not that it would make much of a difference to that lot...most of them looked like gang members or similar low-life scum.

Props to the Avengers!

I just talked to my buddy Joe Jr, that sits right behind us. He said the same thing, his dad big Joe threw his beer all over the guy that spit.

He said one of the Avengers got sucker punched and all hell broke loose. If I was there I would have been right in the middle of it. He also said beer sales were cut off at halftime because someone got stabbed.

Are those the two Joe's that show up at halftime. They were at the half tonight too.

The big fight with the stabbing happened pretty early on in the section near Ed and Mike. We knew something beyond punches happened when they brought in a mop to clean up afterwards.

Didn't hear about beer sales being shutdown and have a hard time believing it because late in the 3rd quarter people in the section just below and toward the endzone from Joel had a beer throwing frenzy...cup after cup being hurled in every direction...ridiculous.

My wife and I just sat in peace, drinking our water, up in the upper seats in the North endzone. Only one "near-skirmish" but everyone shook hands and made nice.

It's terrible the things that can happen when you add football fans and alcohol...even at a meaningless preseason game.

:doi:

Good to see all that made it to the halftime meet.

Yup those are the Joes. We carpool with them.

They sit in the seats directly behind me and my brother.

Joe jr. said he went up to grab beer and they said sales were cut off. Can't comment more than that since I was home.

Feel bad that I wasn't there. Seems like our boys down there could have used some help.

The possibility of jail kept me away, nothing more.

Can't say much more than the Raiders fans were scum tonight. They must pride themselves on rallying the world's low lifes as their fan base.

Most of them looked like Gangstas.

Yeah it looked like 3-1 raiders fans tonight :(

In the section I was sitting in, it was more like 8-1 :(

Luckily though the raiders fans in my section weren't really rowdy even though most were youngish (15-30)

I got a kick out of some mom that had raiders gear on, but her little boy was sporting all cards.....Yeah baby!

The only thing that sucked was about 5 rows ahead of us, a whole bunch of Raiders fans were standing up throughout the whole game holding 2 big raiders flags. Which impeded some of my viewing pleasure :(

Me and my fiancee were complely surrounded in our seats. All you can hear the whole game were R-A-I-D-E-R-S. Damn Raider fans were all drunk tonight.

Too bad Cody, from the avengers can't post here as much anymore. I'd like to hear which Avenger got sucker punched. They are all really good guys.

We all have each others back down there. I just can't risk my future and my families future getting arrested fighting with dipshits about football. Especially in a meaningless preseason game.

Doesn't sound like any of our guys got arrested or was seriously hurt. So that makes me feel better.

The thing most Raiders fans have in common is ignorance.

I countered a boastful silver-and-black fan after the game that the team he felt was "going far" this year had the same record as the Cards did last season. His response: "Nuh-uh." Genius. I almost asked him who the Raiders' coach was but I figured he wouldn't know and then he'd try and start something. Ignorance and fighting seem to go hand-in-hand.

I think the NFL Should force the Raiders to change their name and their colors. They promote gang violence and someone getting stabbed at the game is just another example.

Absolutely Pathetic. There were times when I didn't really feel safe at the game with gangsters with hairnets sitting all around me.

Is that what happened right above us?

We couldn't tell but saw no Card fans in the injury or arrest group. At least they were fighting themselves.

Hey BIM where were you sitting? I was up in that section too.. 219, row 13

I had on my Anquan Boldin Jersey, my buddy had is Jake Plummer Jersey on with Plummer crossed out and Navarre written over it.

I didn't feel unsafe until I was walking out of the game. getting heckled by some gangsters.

Most of the Raiders fans at tonight's game, or any game outside of Oakland, couldn't hang in Oakland and have likely never been near there. They're wannabe gangsters, driving Volkswagons.

Heck, many of the young guys talking smack near us weren't even alive when the Los Angeles Raiders won the SB back in '84. And they definitely weren't around when the Oakland Raiders played in any SB.

Sad that somebody got stabbed. Heck - sad that someone felt the need to bring a knife to a freaking preseason football game. There was one Raider fan wearing a 69 jersey, with long brown hair, who went into the brawl and began kicking someone who was down. What a coward. He never got rounded up when the cops and security showed up, but he should have been arrested or kicked out. He took off his jersey and braided his hair to change his appearance just as the authorities got there.

It also appeared to me that the person who got stabbed was a Raiders' fan. They strapped him to a board, carried him to a cart and drove him out through the North endzone area, with some concerned Raiders fans following the cart (apeared to be family/friends).

We had some hot cop tazer action in our section.

I think Ouchie and Cheesie's seats are cursed. Big fight one or more Raiders fans retrained by the cops with liberal assitance of a tazer. It happen right in front of where the brothers grimm sit.

Guys, was your other brother there tonight, if so i hope it wasn't him being tazered

Hey, Redheart, I saw that too. I am in Section 19, Row 1 and looked over just when that guy shoved your friend and almost knocked him over the wall. What a thug.

I was thinking during the game that we need to find out who schedules the preseason games and all put our names on a letter saying we don't ever want Oakland here again. I saw so many people leave early, especially women and kids, that I was disgusted. People having to flee an NFL game to protect themselves!

My friend who went with me told me she was scared. What an awful thing to have to hear. She's from Philadelphia and said SDS was so ghetto compared to Philly. I couldn't believe it.

I saw that guy in the 69 Raider jersey, too, when he kicked the guy who was down. I saw him walk by our section (or a guy who looked a lot like him) covered in blood. I can't believe there was a stabbing! I've never considered not buying tickets, but now I am. :(

We don't have to play them fools again, I think, until we have the new stadium.

Why would they schedule them here in the preseason?, pisses me off.

If they had a preseason game in Wi. for instance it wouldn't be the same.

Most of those losers live here in AZ. Its not like they all flew out from Oakland.

Very true - they couldn't get past airport security. :D

It is sad - also a testimony as to why some don't attend the games. Anymore, it has gotten to be too dangerous, in the eyes of some.

Funny the talk spread to wannabes because I overheard some raiders fans behind me say, we should go to oakland.

I kinda shook my head and found it quite amusing.

What was funny was on the way out two vendors (sporting raiders gear...traitors for a few bucks) arguing about selling peanuts....I wonder if they fought because it was pretty vocal....outside of the North entrance about (150) feet...just before the street. I guess when you don on the silver and black you mind just goes wack. :)

So all the Raider fans were only 1 year old? Didnt the Raiders just play against Tampa Bay 2 SB's ago?

As I have posted before - I lived in Los Angeles and was a raider season ticket holder for 5 years... Except for the part about taking your life into your own hands trying to go from parking far away on the street (unlike Sun Devil Stadium - parking lots at the colesium are few and far between) - the scene inside the stadium was pretty tame....Heck - they covered up 35,000 seats and the place was still 1/2 full alot of the time (after trying to get down to about 65,000 - 75,000 seats). The crowd was pretty tame at the time..Must be the oakland thing...

On tv they kept showing Raider fans and laughing about how it sounded like a home game. I really wish those morons would read stories like this and find out what their "fans" are really like, a bunch of criminals who should be in jail.

I blame Al Davis, he promotes this mentality, he wants it.

Hope whoever got stabbed is ok, that's just unreal at a football game.

The whole Raiders thing, is the closest the NFL comes to European soccer hooliganism. Its disgusting. No shortage of bad behavior at any of the games, but it mulitiplies by ten when that scumfest comes to town. I don't blame anyone for sitting out that game. Just pitiful.

I think you fight fire with fire.

If DG can put up some wins that will bring more people.

With the more people comes "The Dawg Pound" mentality guys who act as enforcers. I'm not promoting that or saying that's good....but the reality is that this Raider crap like you saw last night will continue as long as they have numbers. They're friggin cowards. When a few get their arse kicked and the word gets out then this shiet will stop. Thank you Card Avengers for doing your duty. We need more like you.
