NFL | R. McClain's draft stock falling?
Wed, 24 Mar 2010 06:44:57 -0700

PewterReport.com reports Alabama LB Rolando McClain's NFL Draft stock is in decline, according to a league scout, due to recent developments regarding his Crohn's disease, which was disclosed after he could not finish his Pro Day workout. McClain probably went from a mid first-round draft pick to a late first-round pick to maybe even a second-round selection.

...maybe even a second-round selection.
I would like to think that we wouldn't let him get there. That would make three years in a row that we drafted first rounders with health "issues" that fit BPA and need.

crones disease and ankle issues are completely different health issues. even if he were to drop to us, i wouldn't be surprised if the cardinals passed on him.

I am convinced that the Cardinals have hired high school girls to spread negative gossip around the NFL.

"DRC has only one kidney and is very skinny"
"Wells is injury prone and a fatty"
"McClain has Crohns and cant even finish a workout"

I think he is talking about DRC's kindey issue compared to McClains Crohns.

Crohn's is a manageable disease. There are several NHLers who've had long careers living with this issue.

Especially considering the better shape you are in the more manageable it is. Especially when you have a highly paid nutritionist in you corner, eating the right way also helps with managing it. Its why it doesnt bother athletes.

I hope he falls to us. If we draft him in the first, I don't care if we use every selection afterwards to draft and redraft Tebow, I'd still be happy.

he said 3 straight years, so he was obviously referring to beanie as well.

Yep I was. So what? My statement would still be true. Three years of players that are perfect for us dropping to us. As CC said, totally manageable.

It'd be great if it worked out for us, the guy was the most important player on the Nat'l Champs. How manageable is Crohns Disease?

True story for you.

The first time I visited Arizona was just after 9/11 had gone down. The one movie theater was playing Monty Python and the Holy Grail on the big screen to lift spirits. I ended up meeting someone from the old board and going to see the flick. Now, I know I know the person, but I feel like I know all of you guys, so I can never remember who it was. Jw7, I think.

Ahh the season of misinformation is on us. He'll get picked by Denver and if not, then no later then NY or Pitt IMO

He is the one player I want out of this draft however and if we get him and 6 scrubs I'll take that. This is the next Patrick Willis.
