3b, LF are our two biggest holes at the plate, SS as well but you live with up the middle defense. If Walker wasn’t so good defensively 1b would also be included. Longoria, Rivera, Peterson are below average, Gurriel has shown who he really is over the long haul, Pham can go to. Get another starter and two maybe three new bats but this team needs to up their game at the plate.

Both ways would work, and I know Lawler has a small sample of at bats this year but he looked overmatched

They played Lawlar at 3B in game just before bringing him up to PHX. The scuttlebutt was they needed him to fill the gaping hole we had at 3B this year, even without any experience there.

That and Gallen's arm just being done for the season. Can't even imagine what Houston or Texas would do to him. Pre AllStar break Gallen gives the Dbacks a legit shot to beat Philly.
