Please don't stoop down to the Laker fan level of trolling. It was a very good game both ways. Refs called a good game as well for once.

GAME 7 BABY!!!!!

It definitely was. I was waiting for the refs to say Nash dribbled out of bounds when he got fouled in overtime. Kobe was screaming at the ref he did.

:), I think that was a joke. And a nice one, IMO.

It was done sarcastically. I should of put a smiley after it. Looking for a battle in game seven. Hopefully the game is played clean and the refs don't decide it.

Great game tonight. The Suns showed some real heart out there.

One of the first things out of Phil's mouth was how much the ref's blew the whistle on the Lakers in the first quarter. The poor Lakers couldn't get into the flow with three of their starters sitting on the bench.

Why be so excited, all these games are fixed for the big market team, right??? Wonder if all those guys who said they gave up on the NBA after game 4 will watch Saturday...

Suns D was good defending the paint, the P&R was clicking and Thomas was clutch in the end. Let's see how the Lakers adjust. Very exciting series, let's see what happens in game 7. You should be proud of your team. They played very composed to the end. Laker youth choked that game away, imho.

I'm so sick of FrankenPhil and his flapping gums whinning about the refs after everytime he loses. The Fakers have gotten so many calls their way this series, it's ridiculous. This is FrankenPhil's M.O. through every playoffs he coaches... his team loses, he makes a stink about officiating in the media... and hopes the refs feel sorry for him the next game.

Duh -- you know it's better for the league if the series goes longer, right? We'll see what happens in Game 7.

Thank goodness the winner of this series plays a team from L.A.

Dreams do come true sometimes. May I humbly repost my earlier post I made more than two hours before the game. Now comes another tough game Saturday.

Quote by Mainstreet:

"I know I'm dreaming, but I'd like to have my dream for a couple of more hours at least.

With all the alleged one upmanship Kobe and Phil Jackson have parlayed into the one game suspension of Raja Bell, let's flip the coin. Maybe Raja may not play the game tonight but has won the battle.

Suppose Raja really did send a message to the referees that the game needs to be called exactly as played (without favoritism for Kobe and the rest of the Lakers) and this message has been conveyed down by the league office as well.

Perhaps this could then put the Suns into a very interesting position of having a closely called game which just might benefit Phoenix without all the perks the Laker team is used to getting.

Maybe Kobe even goes into a scoring explosion but leaves his teammates out of the equation and the Suns win a shootout.

Perhaps Raja wins afterall.

Sure this is a long shot... but an interesting thought nevertheless."

Glad the series is over.

Oh...wait....

No, there is a very tough game ahead and I can only hope on my part that the Suns can win it.

However, the referees took away game 4 from the Suns so it should have been over.

Remember the jump ball call with Walton clearly standing out of bounds and the Suns could not get a timeout with 6.5 seconds left? I can still see in my mind two referees watching the play at close range and not making the correct call. In fact, the two referees and Walton were out of bounds, except Nash. It was very ironic.

I thought Game One was the best. There were some bad no calls in this one on a couple of Kobe drives late in the regulation and OT where Marion should have got his 6th, but overall this game was the second best officiated game.

Lakers showed more heart in regulation; Suns showed more heart in OT. Game over.

Game one...great officiating.

Game two...decent officiating.

Game three...slightly Lakers officiating

Game four...big lakers officiating

Game five...big Suns officiating.

Game six...great officiating.

Game seven...???.

It's starting to remind me of the Lakers/Kings series of 2001 season where it went 7 and the Lakers won in OT at Arco. Tight series, a few weird calls but play overall being very chippy and strong wills in every game.

Much more of a fight than most, if not all, Suns fans expected.

Only because of the blown call at the end of Game 4. Otherwise it's already Suns in 6.

Don't go all Kings fan on me now. And are you talking about the Luke call, the pushoff from Nash immediately prior to that, the shooting foul not called when Kobe tied the game in regulation, or the pull on Diaw with .7 seconds left.

I'm not exactly sure which of those 4 blown calls you are talking about...because depending upon which one actually gets called, 2 give laker wins and 2 give Suns wins.

But the lakers suck and can't hang...or at least that's what I was told by a bunch of people.

I think the real difference between the gripes most (rational) Suns fans have now and the ones that the Kings fans had way back when is that the primary controversial call was not really a question of judgment. The crazy meltdown that the Kings had was just that - a meltdown. The Kings team fell apart.

Here, on the other hand, most of the Suns fans will point to the Luke Walton out-of-bounds play. Photo evidence - binary condition - foot in or out of bounds. That's all there really is to it. Fouls are almost always subjective - and push-offs, bumps, etc., especially in the waning moments of a game, are often ignored. And, of course, there's always the question of, if the foul is called, will the foul shot be made? That's jumping into the realm of speculation and unknown, even if the foul shooter is excellent.

I think that's why both Steve Nash and Mike D'Antoni, both of whom are normally quite fair and even-handed in their comments, facetiously say that the series is now 4-2. Concerning the time-out/out-of-bounds jumpball call - I don't see how one can argue that that's a judgment call. It's a pretty egregious missed call, in my opinion.

Of course, NONE of that detracts from what the Lakers have accomplished so far in the series. Despite what other fans might have thought, I definitely never thought the Lakers were going to be a pushover.
