I'm better than Mulli!
WhoI hope our picks after #1 are traded for a vet PG.

I would love to combine our three picks after #1 and get the best player in the draft we can, if adding a player would help so be it. I don't even care if the player is not a pg, just the best player possible.
Carter, Mikal, Young, Shai, Porter Jr. Zhaire. Whoever falls. I still think Mikal could easily become the best player in this draft.
Sign Elfrid to an OK three year contract with a team option before year two. He gets decent money this year, and in the worst case scenario (for him, he is a free agent next year). As I look at the options, unless we can trade for a very good player, Elfrid and BK might be our best options at pg going into next year.
That’s a big bucket of expensive “meh” that doesn’t fit the timeline.Dragic, Conley or Lowry. Of course we’d be sending out contracts too.

People often underestimate these upper class PGs that come out and they make an almost immediate impact off the bench. Van Fleet being recent enough and now people are considering grabbing him.
Don't forget Elie Okobo. Another PG I like, even before he scored 44 the other day.I agree with going BPA at #16. There just isn't a PG I HAVE to have there so it only makes sense to just strengthen our bench. Bridges might slide, but I doubt to #16. My Spidey sense is tingling with Mikal. I can't tell if I'm watching Vince Carter (athleticism) or Markieff Morris (attitude). Right now, I'm at an impasse.
At #31, I think we have a real opportunity to get better (shockingly). People often underestimate these upper class PGs that come out and they make an almost immediate impact off the bench. Van Fleet being recent enough and now people are considering grabbing him.
I'd love to see:
Jalen Brunson
Devonte Graham
Jevon Carter
I mean, we all know Brunson is going to San Antonio because he's literally a Pop kind of guy. I think we should beat them to the punch. He's not a starter, but a great lightening bug off the bench who has a history of winning with effort.
Graham is more the pure PG that will play D, but is nothing special in any area.
Carter is a D dynamo who can fill it up. 3&D. Great compliment to Book.
I've seen enough from Tyler to believe he's going to continuously be taken advantage of because of his size. I think any of these three would be an upgrade over him.
(And I disagree on Elfrid. Dude just doesn't care. You can lead a horse to water...)
Where do you think he slots at? NBADraft.net has him only as a mid-2nd rounder.I love Jevon Carter. He is just a defensive bulldog. He is not big, but he is incredibly strong. He is also a very good passer and shoots well from three. IOW he is a pass first Eric Bledsoe with a three pointer. I think he can guard both ones and twos. His defensive flexibility meshed with JJ, give you the ability to cover two wing players. Just watch the video of Carter defending Trae Young this year.

I understand the downside on Kemba...You need to make sure he will re-up and if so he's going to be expensive. Very expensive.
But here's the thing...Every good player we want to bring in is going to be expensive. I've heard arguments against bringing in Karl-Anthony Towns (AGAINST KARL-ANTHONY TOWNS!) because of price and it's a good argument because the Suns would be losing the holy grail of assets (a potential star on a rookie contract) to bring him in and would limit the ability to improve the roster.
However...that holy grail isn't happening again. You've got your building blocks in Booker, Jackson, and Ayton. The Suns can afford to add one big contract this year or next. That's got to be the right player, and in my mind that player is Kemba Walker.
Kemba is the perfect candidate. He turns 29 in three days, so he's not young but also not old. He's one of the top volume 3-point shooters in the entire league. And he's a respected leader.
- The Suns need a veteran leader who actually plays.
- They need a point guard to run the team.
- They need floor spacing.
What point guard would be more worthy of a big contract?
Here are the top point guards by "Estimated Wins Added" from last year:
http://insider.espn.com/nba/hollinger/statistics/_/position/pg/sort/VORPe
1. James Harden
2. Russell Westbrook
3. Damian Lillard
4. Stephen Curry
5. Kyrie Irving
6. Kemba Walker
7. Chris Paul
Ben Simmons
There is one guy on that list the Suns could add without giving up the #1 pick or Josh Jackson. He's the same guy who is the TOP unrestricted free agent point guard next summer.
The time is now. Go get Kemba!
Does anyone care about the Milwaukee pick next season? I mean would it move the needle much to move up in this draft?
Mil pick, #16, #31, #58 for top 10??

Sorry but I already have plans for it. I intend to send the 16, the 59 along with the Milwaukee and Miami picks to the Chicago Bulls for Trae Young.
We would be a defensive mess, but boy would that team be fun to watch.Sorry but I already have plans for it. I intend to send the 16, the 59 along with the Milwaukee and Miami picks to the Chicago Bulls for Trae Young.
Or we could go a lot cheaper and shoot for #13 pick and get Shai
