These game threads are hilarious. You got guys wanting to burn Hedo and Channing at the stake but they were INTEGRAL to winning this game.

Everyone HATED the Warrick signing except a few of us. Now everyone loves him. Time for a lot of big servings of crow!

I can't recall hearing anyone say that they hated the Warrick signing.

Warrick has been a pleasant surprise. He's not what I wanted, but he is proving just how good Nash is in getting more out of his teammates.

I did not see the whole second half, but it seems the Suns played surprisingly good defense against a team that had just beaten the Lakers. Gentry's experiment of moving Warrick to first team PF, Hedo to SF, nad Hill to SG worked well.

These are two of the best regular season wins in a long time.

They need to fix the rebounding badly. 22 Rebounds for Melo?

The wins are nice but it is a total fluke when you rebound as bad as we do.

The Lakers win was a fluke. This game was a hard fought victory on the second game of a back-to-back when shots weren't falling early. Sure we got outrebounded, and that's going to be a continual problem for this team. There is nothing wrong with being critical of the Suns. Heck, I referred to the Suns win against the Lakers "fools gold". But there are a few posters on this board who seem to be overly-critical of the Suns this year, and who also coincidentally happen to be big Stoudemire fans. Did you want us to pay Stoudemire $100 million? Have you been watching New York this season?

You do realize that there is nothing wrong with Amare, this is still a team sport and he is not entirely to blame for knicks current woe. His points avg ppg has dropped just like how Nash apg has dropped. They are both adjusting to the separation, which is expected. The only difference is Nash will find a way.
I would have loved for Amare to still be on the team, but paying him $100 million with his injury history is kinda crazy.

What i meant is, Amare is still Amare. The same Amare that was in Phoenix is still the same Amare in NY averaging like 3pts less than last season. Its not like Amare got $100 mil and played worse.

Watched some highlights, looks like Hakim has pretty decent low-post moves...moves that Amare doesn't seem to have.

Childress seems to be playing very hard on the defensive end. He challenges shots at least rather than just letting score inside.

Both Hedo and Frye had the same highlight moves.. driving to the right and hitting glass to score. I think this is the first time I see Frye driving like that to score. It's good to see him improving and even Gentry gave him credits for his defense. Nice.

It feels good to win with defense sometimes!
