I do not follow the Nuggets much so it is hard for me to figure out why they started the season at 1-3. When I look at their roster, I see a team loaded with talent. They should be able to beat any team in the league come playoff time. Dragic playing will be a game time decision.

Paul Coro at azcentral sets the stage in an article dated 11-8-13. Start time is set for 7PM Arizona time.

Nuggets (1-3) at Suns (3-2) … 7 p.m. Phoenix tip

C: JaVale McGee … Miles Plumlee

PF: Kenneth Faried … Channing Frye

SF: Jordan Hamilton … P.J. Tucker

SG: Randy Foye … Goran Dragic or Gerald Green

PG: Ty Lawson … Eric Bledsoe

Key Nuggets injuries: Wilson Chandler (hamstring) and Danilo Gallinari (knee) are out.

Key Nuggets reserves: Andre Miller, J.J. Hickson, Nate Robinson, Evan Fournier, Darrell Arthur and Timofey Mozgov.

I think this bad start for the Nuggets is no fluke. Iggy and Gallinari were huuuuge for that team last year. Hamilton looks like a bust. Dudes like Foye, Hickson and especially Nate Robinson are as likely to lose a game for their team as they are to win it. And you've got a first year coach trying to manage players like McGee and Robinson? Good luck. If Gallo comes back early and is full strength they might be able to piece things together but without him they have a serious problem at the wings.

I do not expect them to make the playoffs this year (I picked them for 36 wins in that thread in september). They had a horrible off-season.

Perhaps I give Denver too much credit because I like players like Lawson and Faried a lot. Also I have always like the potential of McGee. Their depth also impresses me. However, the loss of coach George Karl (who I think is is underrated as a coach) and Iggy may prove more of a loss than I thought. Actually it's difficult to think of the Nuggets without George Karl.

I'm liking how Plumdog slams it home when he gets an opportunity rather than putting it up there softly.

Me too. Also does Green has to be in the top 5 best verticals in the NBA...

With Plumlee, I'm not missing Gortat. Plumdog has some nice moves. Also I find myself not even thinking about Len.

The Suns need to give the Pacers some major thanks in that Scola trade. I hope Scola produces for them.

You know, when that happened, I really thought it was just about moving Scola and getting a pick. Figured Plumlee was a Steven Hunter type, and Green was another Shannon Brown. Green turned out to be rather competent, and Plumlee is just incredible. That trade is turning out to be a highway robbery.

Who would have thought at the time of the trade that these two would be nice players for the Suns, except perhaps McDonough. Plumlee was not even on my radar.

Has any team picked up Kendall Marshall or Shannon Brown?

don't think so

Marshall was such a huge miss in the draft. Lance Blanks should have read the scouting reports. Marshall's weaknesses were glaring.

Plumlee's defense and rebounding gives the Suns a tough look inside.

This team is great to watch but it seems they are a little out of control. Still very interested at the wins

I'm more interested in how the Suns play than wins. They are exciting.
