No, there are a lot of sites I like. That particular one is more about how teams play when X player is in the game. Rather than focus on Morris' stats you get a reflection on how the Suns looked with and without him and how his positional counterpart played when he was on the court. The obvious flaw those kinds of stats would be if Morris was screwed by being in really bad rotations, or if Morris were the backup to some exceptional player it would make him look bad in comparison. Seeing as Morris backed up Scola, I dont think that hurts him too much. But Morris was certainly in some horrible rotations last season, surrounded by players that almost no one could look good along side.

But was Morris also a big part of the problem? I dunno. Seeing as he played a lot of minutes with Beasley, Wes Johnson and Marcus Morris, all 3 are players I would say are abjectly terrible, Markieff is developing a strong alibi.

Like I said, I might just be wrong and judging him to harshly for circumstances out of his control... but I watch him play it still does not make sense to me. Maybe I'd be able to judge him better if there was not this other dude out there playing like garbage who looks just like him.

I think he was a part of the problem. He wasn't good for us last year and I wasn't trying to make that argument. He had some good games but more often than not he was disappointing. But he wasn't horrible IMO and he gets talked about here as if he were.

Our personnel overall was garbage. Who wants Brown and Marshall?
Heat are taking a gamble on Beasley. We had no shooters and Morris was allowed to shoot because of that. Least now we have Bledsoe who can feed Dragic or green for a shot and now plumlee draws the defense in. There are way too many variables to account for, but collectively...our roster was ****.

ESPN reports JaVale McGee is out indefinitely with a stress fracture in his lower left leg.

That's a bummer. The guy's a space case, but I like his energy.

Oh well, good news for J. J. Hickson's fantasy owners...

ESPN reports JaVale McGee is out indefinitely with a stress fracture in his lower left leg. The Nuggets start the season at 1-4. I wonder how long before the heat will be turned up on Brian Shaw and the clamor grows louder for George Karl to return.

McGee and Chandler both out. See, I knew we would have Gortat trade suitors during the season ;)

Those teams probably can't give us a better offer than Denver though unless NY considered trading Shumpert for him & Denver with Fournier or Hamilton.

Okay, so I just finished re-watching this game. My favorite moment? I loved it when late in the game (about a minute and a half left), Bledsoe starts to make his move out at the 3 point line and Plumlee realizes he's going to drive to the hoop so he slips out of the key pulling his defender with him. I can't tell you how many times I'd scream at my TV the last couple years when I'd watch one of our bigs just hold their spot, effectively bringing another defender into the play. Smart play Miles.

You can teach an intelligent player, but dumb is dumb. Hear that Beasley? Oh, I am sorry, you weren't listening.
