Anyway we stand still while..

New Orleans has #1 and #10 to improve their team
Portland has #6 and #11 to improve their team
Houston has #12, #16 and #18 to improve their team

Utah had 4 lottery picks in the last 2 years.

Unfortunately you are preaching to the choir.

Rockets are trying to get Dwight. Watch, next the Rockets will trade with either the Raptors or the Kings....

They need to get two top 10 picks to complete their package to offer Orlando for Dwight.

#8 for Lowry, #12 may already be in the works.

Right, because it's really easy to acquire a 2nd lottery pick the day before the draft.

I think the point slinslin is trying to make, it is hard to watch other teams make moves to improve while the Suns stand pat... at least for the moment. I'd even be happy if the Suns could get some second round picks or a late first round pick.

I believe the Suns are playing in the minor leagues compared to many other teams FO.

I wish Babby and Blanks had the balls that Daryl Morey has.

Gotta love it if you are a Rockets fan, at least they are TRYING to improve the team while dum*** teams like the Phoenix stands PAT and watches.

Chad Ford's latest mock draft 10.0

Phoenix

Jeremy Lamb
Position: SG
Height: 6-foot-5
Weight: 179 pounds
Age: 20
School: UConn

Analysis: The Suns need just about everything, so they can afford to take the best player available. But Lamb hits a sweet spot for them at the 2-guard position. They didn't think he'd be available here and he gives them length and shooting.

Trade Scenarios: It's been pretty quiet in Phoenix.

Suns' Big Board:
1. Dion Waiters
2. Austin Rivers
3. Jeremy Lamb
4. Kendall Marshall
5. Arnett Moultrie

How embrassing is it for the Suns to have him say "its been pretty quiet in Phoenix" regarding trade scenarios??

I guess most of the league should be embarrassed too then, right?

Is most of the league a borderline playoff team with just 1 first rd pick in the last 3 drafts? If so, then yes absolutely!

Teams in the West that the sorry *ss Suns can compare themselves to: Hornets, Rockets, Jazz, Trail Blazers, Timberwolves all have had multiple 1st rd picks in recent drafts or will get it tonight.

If Drummond is available, or it doesn't take too much to trade up a couple spots, and we don't get him, I may be literally sick.

I can only imagine the spin at that point, "well we didn't expect him to be there, so we didn't scout him".

FWIW someone in the Warriors organization apparently said they're scared Drummond is another Patrick O'Bryant, looks like a stud, but can't play.

It was in the same article where Tim Kawakami was saying he was concerned they might take Drummond anyways because he is so big it's easier to defend the pick later if you're wrong.

He thinks the Warriors will and should take Waiters if he's there.

Don't know what to think of Drummond if he falls. He is so young and so big. So many potential issues including injuries and the typical slow development of big men.

Its almost guaranteed that we will have some gut wrenching choice. My prediction, at #13 Lamb, Moultrie, and Marshall will be on the board, and we'll pick Lamb. Everyone will be excited until they announce the first name. Doron.

Its just typical of Suns drafts. Right last name, wrong first name.

Absolutely reasonable...I'm mystified myself at his lack of production. That being said, the Suns need stars, so I'd take the gamble.

My fear is the Suns will choose average and select Kendall Marshall. I'd like Marshall if the Suns were looking for a backup PG but other guards are going to be able to shut him down with man-on-man defense and he cannot defend. He is not athletic. Also I'm not sold on Lamb either although he appears to have more upside. Maybe it's just because I do not know much about him. I guess that's why I start looking for an athletic big man with upside at #13 like Moultrie or even a center. Lopez, Frye, Warrick and even Morris does not instill confidence in the Suns front line to me.

Damn, everytime I see the videos for that Waiters kid, I'm so damn disappointed. This kid's gonna bust so hard in the NBA man....I already feel sorry for whichever team gets him.
