Good lord. Here you go again... He flamed out of the NBA? What? You do remember there was a strike, right?

you do remember that Brooks wasn't the only person who was effected by the strike, right? did everyone else in the NBA go play for China? did everyone else who DID go to China stay there the entire year instead of coming back to the NBA? Uh... no.

And don't even try to claim that his unbreakable contract in China was a result of him flaming out of the league. That is the most ridiculous argument ever.

almost as ridiculous as saying NBA teams would value what he did in China over what Dragic did in the NBA. Now, THAT'S ridiculous.

And I still don't understand why you have to reply to posts with such vitriol and meanness.

cry me a river Chap. You were the one who started using CAPS to say anyone who doesn't see your point as correct is BLIND. I just responded in kind... and simply because i refuted your FACTS, isn't mean... making your arguments clear to be ridiculous isn't mean... it just is what it is.

You of all people should be having a pretty great life right now, not sure why you are so negative all the time on here, especially towards certain posters.

certain posters continually make stupid comments/arguments, and i refute them. That doesn't make me negative. You do the same thing... except you pass off your arguments as "FACTS" when they're anything but... and then call people blind if they don't agree with you. But yeah... I'm the one with the issue here.

Pot meet Kettle... you're black.

Hard to believe that you could be so awful to people.

I could be so awful to people? jesus dude. LOL. You talk to people the exact same way I do... if not worse. Only difference is, you usually have no idea what you're talking about and thus, I usually call you out on it. Get a grip, dude.

What are you talking about? I'd probably get angry if I didn't feel so sorry for you. You're definitely one of those internet bullies that loves the attention, regardless of the strength of your knowledge (which I admit is very good). This post is a great example of it--and you do it all the time! And these personal attacks coming from a discussion about Aaron freaking Brooks and Goran Dragic??

so you didn't call people blind earlier? jesus Chap... you playing the victim card is ridiculous. At least I can admit what I am. VERY opinionated and when someone wants to get down and dirty, I've got no problem sinking to that level. the idea that you're not the exact same type of poster (albeit with inferior strength of knowledge) is laughable.

just in this thread you've called people ridiculous, blind, etc. etc. But I'M the only one at fault? Like I said earlier... Pot meet Kettle. You're black.

just as frame of reference, Chap, here's where I weighed in on the debate:

"i'm guessing no one in the NBA believes that and the proof will be in teams interest/new contracts they both get this off-season."
And you're incredibly angelic response:

"The actual FACTS bear it out! Brooks has a much better resume to be a starter than Dragic's does. Anyone who doesn't see that is blind."

So, you're starting to scream at me with all caps and assert you have the facts and were making **** up then call anyone who doesn't agree with you "blind". And I brought the vitriol into the conversation? sorry pal... you brought whatever you wrought on yourself. up until that point, everything was relatively copacetic.

Chad Ford's latest mock and he has us taking...

13. Phoenix

Jeremy Lamb

Position: SG
Height: 6-foot-5
Weight: 179 pounds
Age: 20
School: UConn

Analysis: Lamb suffered a high ankle sprain in a workout in Toronto and has struggled to get well enough again to resume workouts. While GMs think he's talented, they have questioned his toughness. His inability to work out has hurt him a bit, too.

However, Lamb went into Phoenix over the weekend and toughed out a workout on the bad ankle. A source in Phoenix told me they were actually impressed with his toughness and willingness to fight through the workout. His performance there could keep him in the lottery. If Lamb is gone, Terrence Ross, Dion Waiters and Austin Rivers are all possibilities here. So is Arnett Moultrie.

I'd be pretty okay with Lamb. I think he could be a real sleeper in this draft.

It's still absolutely true that Brooks' resume is better than Dragic's. I never said that at this point Brooks is the better player--but he certainly has more real experience than Dragic does.

And the above response was in reference to something ASUCHRIS said, not you. It's all about the overvaluing of Goran Dragic in the discussion. You obviously put more stock in Dragic (I'm assuming based on what he could do in the future), I follow that line of thinking as well. But dismissing Brooks as out-and-out garbage is just wrong. He's not a world-beater by any means, but he's still a competent basketball player, which he has proven in the past. If you dispute that, than fine. There is no need to attack people simply because you disagree with them. Simple as that.

experience from 3 years ago that he never duplicated again. the league what have you done for me lately and lately, Brooks has done nothing, whereas Dragic shined at the end of last year. Thus it's certainly up for debate as to their resumes. Calling anything a FACT doesn't hold water IMO.

And the above response was in reference to something ASUCHRIS said, not you.

wrong. check that response again. it's #127 and you quoted me in it. So, you attacked me and i returned the favor. but even if you were talking to Chris (which you weren't)... why would your response there be okay, considering you're handing out lectures on proper internet etiquette? Is it not an attack to start shouting at Chris and tell him he's blind? that seems like an attack to me... and considering it was on me... i returned the favor. I could have cried like a little baby about it, but what's the point? if you want to go at me like that, okay, i'll go back at you the same. but someone wants to go at me like that then complain when i return the favor? that's just stupid.

the very distance past. 3 years to be exact, which is an eternity in sports.

If you dispute that, than fine. There is no need to attack people simply because you disagree with them. Simple as that.

simple as that? seriously.. you started this whole thing in post 127, where you quoted me, in a post where I said nothing inflammatory at that point, then you started shouting at me about your "FACT" and then proceeded to attack me and call me blind and I'm the one you're lecturing about "no need to attack people"? Do you know how incredibly hypocritical that is? That is what started my "attacks". If you don't want people to attack you, I suggest you don't attack them first. It's really simple as that.

again, you playing the victim card as if you didn't start this mess in the first place is laughable dude. have a little perspective.

I'm thinking if Waiters, Rivers and Lamb are off the board Moultrie could be the choice. It would be huge for the Suns to have a PF/C that could play on the Suns front line.

Just heard a report from a reporter (radio 1060 am, forget who) who ate lunch with Lance Blanks today. Talking about the #13, these exact words came out of his mouth in the conversation.

"If we keep the pick."

I heard it too. Also, Blanks talked about adding another pick.

So in other words, a waste of anybody's time, because a) Lance Blanks is an awful GM, and b) he basically said absolutely nothing.

Your right! I agree on both points (a & b). You can add Lon Babby in there with Blanks. What a dynamic duo!

I would allow Aaron Brooks to walk for nothing before I would pay him much more than $1.5 million on a one or two-year deal. I would rather bring back Telfair as a backup if Nash is re-signed. If he isn't re-signed, what is the point of bringing back Brooks? He's an undersized scoring guard and a serious liability on defense not to mention a problem in the locker room.

Cut our losses. It was a bad trade.

With Lillard apparently well out of reach now I'm really hoping the Suns end up with a Huskies SG. I think Ross is a safer bet to develop into a respectable starter but I think Lamb has the highest ceiling out of any wing in the draft.

Suns trying to trade assets and move up in the draft to select Dion Waiters.

Phoenix is believed to be the team that promised him but teams who choose before them also like Waiters and may select him if he's available. Suns reportedly don't wanna take the risk.

Source?

The funny thing is he's not even one of the poll choices.

I think it may be time for a new poll. Ross, Rivers, Marshall, Waiters, Lamb or Sullinger seems to be what it has been narrowed to.

Rick Bonnell ‏@rick_bonnell: Suns promise strategy with Dion Waiters won't work. Not a Kobe redux. If Phoenix doesn't trade up, they lose him. via Twitter

Rick Bonnell ‏@rick_bonnell: Portland, Golden State and particularly Toronto won't pass on Waiters. Suns looking hard for a deal they might not get. via Twitter

Rick Bonnell ‏@rick_bonnell: Don't know that Bobcats would/should consider him at No. 2, but from what I hear, he's second-highest potential in this draft.Waiters is very risky -- lots of high schools, someone Boeheim put up with. But very intriguing. via Twitter

And if you wanted to vote for Waiters so badly, you could have chosen the "other" option pal.

My Teague vote is still all alone up there. I think a trade of Nash and Teague as the PG of the future would be pretty nice. Dude's gonna be better than his brother.

I'm going with Arnett Moultrie as the Suns selection. I do not see Waiters being available at #13. Moultrie is athletic and has size. He will be hard to pass up with some of the best players going early. The Suns have also shown interest in him by interviewing him twice.

Ugh Utah has had 4 lotto picks the last two drafts, Portland has 2 lotto picks this draft, Houston has 3 picks this draft, New Orleans has 2 picks in this draft, Golden State has 2 picks this draft....Suns have 1.

Every other borderline playoff team in the West is improving itself except for the dum**ss Suns.

Ugh seriously make some ******** trades and acquire another 1st instead of ruining this damn team!
