The storm finally made it into the Vortex a couple of hours ago.
Nice steady rain, cool temperatures, I'm lovin it!

Unfortunately my dog is upset we didn't make it to the park this morning.

It poured all freaking day today in almost literally Apache Junction (which is what I call far east Mesa where I work). There was flooding and two vehicles (including one that belongs to a coworker) got stranded and were on the news.

The kiddos with special needs (and this is a generalization) do NOT like the rain. Was not a fun day to be a teacher, lol.

Man, these past few days have been chilly. I get to work (out in almost AJ) and the temp drops 6 degrees. Had kids coming off the bus in 27 degree weather. WTH?

BTW, I lost five eggplants, two tomatoes, two peppers and, likely, one ground cover plant. Boo.

Sorry, Jersey. I covered everything with blankets and sheets and, outside of a couple of sad looking aloe vera plants, everything came out of it OK.
