We had a real gully-washer last night. Literally. A ton of rain and wind. There are some pretty good size trees down, branches off, roads flooded, street signs blown over, a couple of intersections had no working lights. It was a mess to drive through.

We got the same Dems. Great storm. Getting hit again as I type! Mucho wind and loads of lightening!! Back to back nights of bigtime storms... Most excellent!

There's a couple of photos on AZ Central of flooding near Tatum and Dynamite. The fire truck must have arrived shortly after I turned around and went the other way.

Tatum always floods there but today was the worst I've seen. It was a mess.

Yeah, I live north of there. Instead of making a nice road like Cave Creek, they just threw pavement down in the washes and then watch it flood. Sorry SOBs.

I was thinking the same thing the other day when I had to go north of the 101 on Scottsdale - they didn't put a lot of work into this road.

Yes, and it was awesome. Walked around in it as much as we could...soaking it in. :D
Went for a walk sunday morning while sprinkling thinking perfect timing, walked into massive monsoon while still half mile from home. Got home totally drenched. Soaked.

Good times.

Took Miggy to Eldorado Park yesterday - played in the flooded grass area - never seen so much water there.

We are ready for the sun to go away here in Portland. This mid 80's and sunny is too much. We haven't seen rain in almost 4 weeks now. Next week should be 74 and cloudy. WOOHOO

Last night's rain brought humidity that was off the charts. My house windows fogged over and heavy condensation was still on them this morning! They were covered by the patio, so I know it wasn't the morning rain that did it. Never seen that in AZ before.
