It's been an hour...where's the link? :D

Well, two reasons it's not :)

1. My wife said I shouldn't, and she's right...I'm in school, running ASFN and really don't have time for it.

2. I'm likely moving out of this fraking hell hole in the coming year, so it makes no sense.

But it's a REALLY good idea...I did a search and there are no AZ Weather blogs out there...

Birth to 32, Phoenix. Now, enemy territory.
Watching the evening news here in Seattle tonight, and they lead the weather section with a story about a massive haboob in Phoenix. Surprised not to find a single mention of it here....

Either they're lying, or you are all buried in 6' of sand and can't find your computers.

Was that from the Frat Boy Network? No exposed Haboobs here. Sorry.

They lied.

Pretty sure they were talking about the one from two nights ago...my wife saw it on the news and said it was pretty huge. My blog has a link to giant haboobs in Iraq, and she said it almost looked the same.

I sadly missed it, and apparently having Tivo for 5 years now still didn't give her the idea she could tape it for me :(

Well the Flagstaff NWS service changed it's mind again. We shall see if they are right or not. Some clouds developing but nothing huge or anything.

That high pressure system sat over the Arizona/Nevada/Utah border for what seemed like forever. It's why it was so bloody hot last week and killed all our storms. I gave it the evil eye and it slowly moved eastward.

I'd like the resident meteorologist to explain why the polar jet stream hasn't dipped at all this summer. It goes right over northern Washington and jumps back up into Canada.

Somebody better fix this weather 'cause I'm gettin' irritated. The weather is broken this summer.

You comments are even more entertaining if you imagine John Locke saying them.

I should probably change my avatar quote, since I'm relating more to Locke than Hurley, and I was sort of rooting for Charlie's death.

Chandler Mike's weather forecast for today:

"From looking at the fraking radar, there appears to be a ZERO POINT ZERO percent chance of precipitation this afternoon and evening...I hope you saved your two-tenths of rainfall on Monday so you have something to dry out your parched throat with tonight...."
