And we're supposed to see a 40 degree swing in 3 days' time? Color me skeptical.
Color me Tickled Pink, btw!! This weather is freaking awesome!!

So what do y'all think; hotter summer because of this, milder, or no impact (average).

Oh we'll pay and pay big, I'm sure.

For right now though.. I am LOVING this!! I can't believe it's this nice in late May. We're only supposed to be 69 degrees for the high today if you can believe that! Mid 70's tomorrow.

I'm a happy man!

It's been pouring in Glendale for a while now. Nice to finally get some rain.

Today was just about the most gorgeous day in May I can recall in my 25 years in Arizona. It was just perfect weather.

I wonder if we should start a new thread for 2008 weather or something...because this one is insanely long :)

You know it's going to quiet until the monsoon hits then it's going to explode.
A new thread might be in order.

Yesterday was a beautiful day and today is going to be even better. Enjoy it because in a few days it will be in the 100's.

El Nino Southern Oscillation conditions have begun trend towards neutral. Given 58 years of data, it strongly suggests a move back towards El Nino, away from La Nina, but we may not see any impact until winter.

There's zilcho cyclonic activity in the North Atlantic, nothing brewing off the Africa coast, though waters are now warm enough to start something (85 degrees in some areas of the Gulf even). It's normal to have limited activity on the two large oceans, but I'm not sure how normal it is to have totally clear skies.

Today, a good friend of mine was improperly treated during a fight at D & I Event Center. He was charged with disorderly conduct. The JJ Arrington I know would never commit such a crime.

There is a dust storm blowing through my area right now, a hint of rain on the air and the Sun mercifully blotted out.

All is right in the world.

They seem to be holding together. I sure hope they make it into the valley.
I'm dying for a storm here.

Driving home from far, far East Mesa, there were nice-looking dark clouds, and we're getting a lot of intermittent gusts here in N Scottsdale, but the cloud mass doesn't look quite as solid.

Breaking apart to the north, but the East looks nasty...not sure if it will get into Phoenix or not.

You know, I can see clouds building up just south of me, so it looks like it jumped Phoenix as usual and is going to appear down there.
